  • @ TheRealist
Clap…clap…clap !!! Bravo sir !! Your list, while not complete (that would take days to type), is spot on!
I hope you copy & paste that every time some buffoon yammers-on about Romney being similar to Obama.

  • @JustAngry & Resme: I truly understand feeling abandoned by the 2-party puppet show. The bait & switch from the neo-con RINO’s left many feeling the Reagan Revolution was hijacked. Ron Paul’s message resonated with most all Tea Party types, (excluding his insane positions on the coming global Caliphate). Paul was sidelined during the convention, and that was a damn shame, but it’s really time for him to act like the statesman he was elected to be. Simply because he got railroaded by a system he should have understood by now is no reason to throw a tantrum & declare there’s no difference between the 2 candidates. His appeal (and voter base) could easily swing the election in a tight contest, and could therefore push for Treasury Secretary, audit the Fed & possibly push to have it rolled into Treasury’s domain. Work the system from within, (like countless voters have done to get Tea Party favorites elected). I simply cannot support Ron Paul or any other true conservative/libertarian who doesn’t know more than 1 way of skinning the cat to bring back strict constitutionalism. We have a race between a moderate conservative & a true Marxist. Which one could be pressured to honor the constitution?

  • VerySenior ; I count 9 stories on the Blaze front page as well as a little tab about “Sandy” on the Hot Topics area, so I’m not sure what you are talking about…Also, last report from Forbes & Charity Navigator shows Red Cross CEO Gail McGovern’s 2010 salary was $1,032,022 …Red Cross wants money instead of items because they have favored vendors for the supplies they hand out. I also find it odd that anytime I’ve donated to Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, etc., they didn’t turn their collective noses up at it or use the excuse that they didn’t have time to sort, clean, etc. Romney could have kept campaigning, but turned to what he has done all his life, (unlike Obamao)…helping others is always the best way to help yourself. Obama turned tragedy into a photo-op, yet, who did the MSM sneer at?

  • The media will snicker at this…and take the bait! They WILL pounce on Trump to make a joke of him. He is many things, but nobody can legitimately say he isn’t savvy!
When the mic. is stuck in his face to make him look foolish, “What’s the big deal, Mr. President? Why won’t you do what other presidents have done in the past? Poor people are going to benefit from something that that’s just standard operating procedure”
Trump’s not just going to shutup in front of a microphone!!

You may not particularly care for Trump, but this may not seem as ridiculous as it seems on the surface.

  • Romney came into this debate with the handicap, via Obamao being POTUS carrying gravitas.
He had to look dignified, in control of facts and above all else, presidential. He carried that off in spades!!

If you turned the sound down, one would think Romney had been the President for the past 4 years. Based on body language alone. Obamao looked like a 3rd string catcher for the Bad News Bears who finally got to play.
Concerning Libya, I’m actually impressed with Romney not looking like he’s a 1-trick pony, and stealing the thunder from the carefully rehearsed lines that Asslerod & Cutter wanted to pounce on post debate.

O’s attempt to “school” Romney on carriers & subs was sophomoric, and Romney artfully deflated O’s auto bailout “accomplishment” by reminding us that was Bush’s program.

THE big knockout came in closing statements. Obamao laid out no plan whatsoever, while Romney sounded…dare I say…Reaganesque. Positive and optimistic for our future reminded me of the “Morning in America” Reagan ad…Barry’s got nothing of the “hope” in his message and his constituency thinks it’s time for a “change”.

  • Romney came into this debate with a handicap that, via Obamao being Commander IN Chief, by design has gravitas when debating foreign policy.

The final debate will likely swing few voters, and foreign affairs is rarely an American bailiwick. Romney had to look presidential, in command of facts and diplomatic on a world stage. He carried that off in spades!
