  Slavery was an institution that paid for your housing, food, clothing, and medical care. Although it was not the best, it was enough to keep you alive. The slave owner required work from you and denied you freedom. Obama does not require work from you , but will provide everything else. Romney wants to create an environment where everyone can work and be free to choose everything they want and need. The highest percent and total number of African Americans ever employed in the history of the US, was under George Bush. It can happen again under Romney. The chains are applied by those that give you what you need to live and all they ask is your vote in return. Lyndon Johnson did this on purpose to cripple African Americans and “keep the on the plantation forever”. Biden was right about the chains, it was just the wrong party who has applied them.

  What people don’t realize is the way leveraged buy outs work. Typically they find undervalued firms that can be purchased cheap. The reason is that the current management did a poor job of running the firm and that is why the company can be bought for a cheap price. The current stockholders realize that if they don’t take the offer from the acquiring firm ( Bain Capital), the current management may completely tank the company (Bankruptcy). The acquiring firm (Bain Capital) typically lays off workers because they are not needed to run the firm profitably. If the company went bankrupt, it is possible all workers could have lost their jobs. Once the acquired firm is turn around with competent management, it is usually sold off for an EVIL PROFIT.

  This is a good opportunity to take a long position in Mars stock. While their statement makes it sound like they care about the health of the public, their sales should soar from more units sold from smaller portions. The Mars family and heirs are mega-billionaires. See Forbes 400 richest Americans. They got FAT$$$ while Americans got fatter.

  I liked the comment about what the Romans did to the Turks. We take the top 5 EPA officials, crucify them, and see how compliant the rest of the EPA staff becomes. I think it will work as well as it did for the Romans. Why haven’t we done this before?
