There's something hokey about you believing anything that comes out of Mexico regarding this case! There's also something hokey about a president who lets a soldier who served 2 tours in Afghanistan sit in a Mexican prison. And sorry, but I'm going to take the word of an American soldier ANY DAY over the word of the corrupt Mexican government.
He never denied this, though he and his mom didn’t play it up when they were fishing for sympathy in the press. He walked over to TJ in the afternoon as he had several times previously and walked back that night, according to him because his hotel room was too grungy, which, if he wasn’t a guy who lived in his truck for weeks at a time would be a plausible enough explanation. His other explanation given a\t other times was that he felt unsafe in the hotel, which would make sense except for the fact that the alternative to staying there is walking through the scummiest, nastiest part of town late at night. I believe that he had been drinking and that he shouldn’t have tried to drive anywhere that night, and that this is why he drove the wrong way and blew past the signs telling him he was going the wrong way. I agree with the story and disagree with the Congressmen that the recording of his 911 call does not help his case. At the time he placed the call the big emergency that he was so concerned about was that the Mexicans were “trying to take my guns.” I figure that if he had the sense to just let them instead of clinging to the moronic hope that he might have been allowed to keep them, he would have been treated with the same deference as all the other dumb Americans who have made the same mistake.

PLEASE look at this article. (I didn’t write it.)
Here’s an excerpt:
Newspapers in El Salvador and Honduras are promoting policies by the Obama administration that defer deportation to minors brought to the United States as children by their parents — known as “Dreamers” — and those that are housing illegal children at military bases in the South and West.
