And according to data, the very data that the Forest Service reports, 9 out of 10 fires are started by humans, not climate, not lightning, not anything else except careless or criminal humans.

Not to mention that 90% (9 out of 10) fires are ignited by HUMANS!!

Remember, this is the same gal that was all GAGA over Chris Christie just one year ago.

Give me a break. Ann Coulter is an opportunist trying to scam another buck, nothing more. I used to be one of the idiots that actually thought she was pretty good. What a stupid I was. Ann Coulter needs to just go away … she is not doing us any good.

Well, first of all you are wrong about “rewrite” … that term is being inappropriately used here. For example, in Levin’s case, he has very clearly stated and laid out “Amendments” … that is NOT “rewriting” the Constitution. And in this case, Brook is not advocating to “rewrite” either, he is advocating for a change, a very SPECIFIC change. Again, that is NOT “rewriting” the Constitution. I think he is using a poor choice of words here.

The biggest reason why this comes up is because progressives love to try to “re-interpret” the Constitution by spinning and twisting the meanings of words and phrases, such as the 2nd Amendment and the term “Militia”, as if the words “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed” were not clear enough. Or the 1st Amendment, which is equally clear. This leads us to rethink how certain sections are worded, and to begin to clarify such passages such that progressive ******** cannot attempt their dirty tricks.

There are several things that could be changed in the Constitution, namely the repeal of a couple of Amendments (the 17th for sure). And perhaps an Amendment that does what Brook suggests, and that is to clarify the role (or lack thereof) of government in our economics and other areas.

Bottom line, we have allowed liberal/progressive/socialist idealogs to build an ever expanding and encroaching government. This MUST stop now!

But it won’t add one dime to the deficit … ;-)

As I have always said, and I am not of the religious sort, there is something VERY magical about that special “spark” that is LIFE. No matter your religious views, you cannot escape the facts of that “spark”, which is something that nothing but GOD can create. Very profound! .. This article, and the story of this Doctor are outstanding! …. GOD bless! ..

…from a guy that is not religious (not in the traditional sense)

You should consider getting a clue before posting such garbage about Venus. Venus is NOT hot because of CO2, it is HOT because of many other factors. Firstly, the atmosphere is 3000x’s that of the Earth. It is over 99 bar at the surface. Sunlight does not reach the surface because the atmosphere is so dense. Because of the density of the atmosphere, sunlight reflects much more than on Earth, which is why it is the brightest body in the sky (save the moon of course). And there are many many other factors as to why Venus is hotter, and NONE of them have to do with CO2 or the GHE (which isn’t even possible). Do your research first!

Before you post, get a clue. The ocean’s CANNOT become acidic! They are 8.4+ PH, they can become more neutral, but NOT acidic. And FACT is, they are not doing that either! You could pump all the CO2 that humans have ever created into the ocean’s and you would not be able to detect a change in PH. The oceans hold an enormous amount of CO2, and as long as they are in contact with rocks, which I am pretty sure they always will be, then it is impossible for them to EVER become acidic.

Get a clue before posting gibberish!

I am the 53%, I have worked since I was 9, I have started 4 businesses, I have moved across the country 6 times to stay employed and providing for my family. I make good money, but I also work 80hrs a week. Everyone I work with is the 53%, they too work hard and earn what they make. One of my best friends is 53% and he is from Iran. He worked his azz off to become a citizen, he works his azz off to provide for his family.

And all of us 53% (the PRODUCERS) are paying for all you lazy azz 99%ers (the moochers) and I am SICK AND TIRED OF IT !!!! …

Pop quiz for the idiot 99%ers posting here. What the hell do you think you are going to do when us 53% PRODUCERS quit PRODUCING for YOU? … Good luck losers!

That’s ok .. I’m no longer messing around with those “small arms” … I’m upgrading at a rather rapid pace. They can have all my “small arms” they want, if they can get past my “big arms” … better bring some heavy armor.

And Einstein also said “God doesn’t play dice”

I’m not one of a staunch religious background, I have a very open view of the subject, but I would have to say that if there is a “God particle”, that would not in any way remove God from the equation.

And to the BECKISNUTS asshat, tell me, if matter can neither be created nor destroyed (as you are taught in physics), then where did matter come from in the first place? .. and if you use the big bang theory, that it came from a singularity of energy, the back to the same question, where did that come from? … until you can explain it, you can’t explain it, and therefore you cannot discount anything, God or otherwise.

Humans don’t know jack squat about life, that is the only known FACT in this whole equation. But it is sure a lot of fun trying to figure it all out … isn’t it?

Ah, but two can play at this game. I’m glad I am a software engineer. I’ll bet I can develop a better one! Anyone wanna play?

Distributive networks!! .. get rid of the “backbone” of the Internet. Fully distributive networking is well on the way which will make this moot. You can’t pull the plug on something that has no plug.

This simply will not work. I can guarantee you that they can pull all the plugs they want to my Internet access and I will still have communication to the rest of the world. All they will do with this is seal their own demise.

sorry, meant: B) They vote NOT to repeal .. (that will crush them in 2012)

  • January 27, 2011 at 11:03pm

I know this is a little off topic, but I am wondering how long it will take before people realize that they were setup big and bad last night during the SOTU address. How do I mean? .. well, it’s pretty simple really. The GOP (and most of America) wants to repeal Obamcare right? .. Obama proclaimed last night that he will veto ANY bill that comes across his desk that has earmarks in it. .. Almost immediately, Harry Reid proclaimed that “I won’t let Obama do that .. I won’t let him take that power away from us” (paraphrasing) .. So, do you see it yet? ..

Well, I will fill you in further … The House just passed the repeal of Obamacare right? .. The bill is sitting in the senate with Reid denying a vote. Well, 2012 elections are coming, and DemoRATS have a problem, they will get crushed in 2012 if there A) is no vote in the Senate .. or .. B) they vote for the repeal.

Well, here’s the catch…. The Senate can now go forward with a vote, attach earmarks (as Reid promised he would do) and Obama will veto, proclaiming “I had to veto, I made a promise to veto any bill that contained earmarks”

This will lead to a win for the DemoRATS, and even worse, be seen as a win for Obama while spinning another yarn to further demonize the Republicans.

This SOTU address was nothing more that “The Sting” (movie). It is all a setup, pure and simple. Watch and mark my words here. This WILL happen JUST LIKE THIS!!
