  Sooo, legislators are appaulled with the current state of gun control and are going to try to pass “meaning” legislation that magically makes crazy people NOT do something they’re planning on doing (btw, where was the anti-bomb talk after McVey? Fertilizer is still legal and we saw the damage that can do).. but these are THE SAME LEGISLATORS who supported “unofficially” of course FAST AND FURIOUS where they let HANDGUNS to ASSAULT WEAPONS WALK into VIOLENT DRUG RUNNER/DEALER/DISTRIBUTOR hands TO KILL our own CITIZENS and LEO’S.

  Does that make a lick of sense to anyone?

  Largest brown bear (coastal big brothers of the grizzly) ever killed on record, killed by a .22 rifle. Shot placement is everything. I can put a shot from any distance indoors in the fatal T with a .22, save my hearing and follow up in the same spot.

  Number 1 gun caliber used by murder for hires or assassination/execution… .22

  With Paul’s stance on Foreigh Policy, Isreal would be more than capable of bombing Iran. As far as Paul’s concerned, Isreal has a soveriegn right to protect itself however it chooses. I think Isreal has intel covered, we probably get half OUR intel from THEM, especially with a security oriented government. Paul believes in the Constitution to the letter. He’s the only guy saying “What gives me the right” .. all the others are worried about what the other guy is doing or coming up with some new tax gimic trying to slide in reduntant taxes (Cain looking at you)..

  Paul believes in me making decisions for myself and that I have more of an interest in my own success than bureacrats in DC, go figure, that’s what I’m about too.. novel concept I know.

  No fed? Love it.. No income tax? Sounds better than 9-9-9.. Bring all our troops home and let countries fight their own wars? Don’t see a downside there.. might even actually help our border issue, which is what the Army’s first duty of protection lies.. Can’t tell me it makes sense to have over 700 military installations over the world and can’t secure our own borders…

  I know most on here are just like me and believe you are well educated and make good enough decisions and when you make bad ones you learn from it and drive on. Most probably want as little government intrusion as possible in your life.. That alone is worth my vote for Paul.

  I just went to their website http://www.pensmore.com/ and this is showcased on the front page, the picture of the finished projected. This is what it says on the webpage underneath this picture:

  Project Safe Home
  Missouri American Red Cross

  So evidentally they’re saying this is a demonstration for the strength of buildings they’ll be able to build in Joslin, MO that can handle the severe weather, however they do mention them being energy efficient first. Funny thing though is that as I tried to click on some of the links of they’re “partners” none of the webpages work. Looks like a shell that they only ran 4 pages deep.

  Personally it doesn’t look jail like, to me, it looks like a fortress. And WHY would he need to bypass local codes, how would they “complicate” things if they plan on using this technology to help others in Tornado Ally? Seems they would still be subject to codes. I NEVER once saw it mentioned that they intend to use this technology to help others in the area with standing up to severe weather. Inconsistant, not adding up.

  Just because crime rates spike doesn’t mean you ostricize the rest of the community that are law-abiding. Would the founders have agreed if it were British police officers taking peoples notes who were observing a shooting?

  If the left is wrong for crying foul on every little thing, why is it the right is in the “right” when someone else wants to know WHY the cops destroyed as much evidence as they could of a police shooting. If anything I WANT that footage to prove everything was legit.

  As a thinking man, it doesn’t add up. If I were still an anaylist and got this intel, I would begin recon on the officers.. again, based on common sense.

  I hope more people on here do. For as informed as the people are here about unions and specifically the AFL-CIO, they sure are quick not to look AT ALL into whether or not these cops acted LEGALLY. Richard Trumpka owns the police orginizations throughout america, just the way it is.

  Remember when the Black Panthers were standing in front of voting places.. Weird no cops came to escort them for disturbing the peace or anything. Holder had nothing to do with as it was occuring and yet still could’ve been stopped.

  AFL-CIO runs the FOP (this is fact, not surmised) which in turn means he runs the cops. Golden Rule is NEVER screw with one of your own or friends of their own because if its yours, you want the same consideration. These guys are Union through and through.

  I also lived in Miami (actually Margate and Coconut Creek, shipped out to basic from Miami) and I remember one Halloween talking to a Ft. Lauderdale LEO and I was amazed at how casual he was and what he had to say about actually putting himself in danger (they don’t pay him nearly enough).. weird to say the least.

  I live in a nice white suburban neighborhood, 5 minutes from Kirk Herbstreit, on the same cruiser disctrict my stepfather had for 10 years and since he’s left I’ve had several “run-in’s” with cops. Stupid stuff like stopping me for driving around an accident since that was the only option I had aside from doing a U-turn on a 4 lane rd. Stopped me just to harass me then threaten me, once he understood I wasn’t going to be bullied and knew my rights he ended it with a “get the f*** out of here”.. cordial to say the least. it’s not the worst of my experiences in the past 2 years and not the only one by far. They seem to be getting quicker to putting their hands on you FOR NO REASON. I have a video of it actually as he was dragging me around. An orginizer for the event asked for a copy and took the cops name and badge number, she’d seen it all.

  Just food for thought.

  Also, I dont’ know how many on here know this, but most police stations, even small towns and sherriffs, are part of the Fraternal Order of Polive, the FOP. That’s the police union. It’s actually a branch of the AFL-CIO ran by Richard Trumpka. My step-father was telling me about the AFL-CIO rally where they were given all their literature about what was really going on in Ohio politics. I love the idea of police officers.. but most of my experiences cause me to be fearful of cops.
