Conservatives need to focus on taking control of Congress, get control of the House and Senate, stop focusing on the presidential race. If we are lucky and get control with a conservative president then we can undo some of this mayhem. If we get control with a liberal president then it will just take a little longer as all the veto’s will have to be overridden.

He’s not a Jr. god, He’s not the “creator of all other things”, he’s not the offspring of “father god and mother god”, he’s not the spirit brother of Lucifer”, etc. He’s the Way the Truth and the Life.

    WOW, that could be Obama.

Who really gives a crap about this? What does it change? Just another diversion from the real problems.

Marriage…I thought that was something only gay people were doing these days.
It is sad that a child cannot be saved here.

Bin Laden is dead, Al Qaeda, has been destroyed, another phony scandal.

Why do we need coaches any more? Everyone who plays wins. Trophies for all.

  • April 15, 2013 at 9:57am

We used to say in the Military, that all the atta boys in the world are negated by one aw ****. No matter how great a job she has done she will be reduced to the crud you find under a door mat.

If you believe the biblical stories, God didn’t put up with Sodom and Gomorrah very long. How much longer do you believe that God will tolerate the current resurgance of the same situation? How do you think God will deal with it?
Or maybe God tried to deal with it and we just ignored the cure.

If the “Bible” is correct this will be a self correcting problem. Is this not a repeat of Sodom and Gomorrah? Will God not wipe the plague off the face of the earth?
There are only two things that speak against homosexuality, the bible, and the fact that it does not exist outside of humans in the primate or animal kingdom.
Until a better arguement can be established in todays society, get ready to meet your maker or turn into a piller of salt, or just start living with the reality of homosexuality.
Give them the right to marry, and pay taxes, Deny them the ablity to adopt children and let them figure out how to procreate in a same sex situation, they will eventually become extinct.

Soldiers are fighting for there lives, coming home with missing limbs and being thrown to the curb all for 20 grand a year, but yet we can pay 120 million to a guy to throw a frigging football. Professional sports could vanish from the face of the earth and I would not miss it.

  • March 6, 2013 at 9:03am

All that money to throw a friggin football, while young men get there legs and arms blown off for 20 thousand a year, and then kicked to the curb. Shameless. Professional sports could disappear from the face of the earth, and I would not shed a tear.

Maybe Ms Hudak needs to be broken down like a shotgun and breech loaded a few times.

The problem with home school is that most parents are not smart enough to school their children.

  • January 16, 2013 at 11:40am

Most parents can’t wait to get their children enrolled. Public school equals free daycare, free lunch, free after school daycare and some places a free supper.

This is where gun control starts. Teach the children that guns are bad, and they will want no part of them. Pretty soon there will be no military because the youth will want no part of having a weapon.

Has anyone added up the number of those that were laid off in the last few weeks. I have a friend who was among 250 that got pink slips 2 weeks ago, and the same employer just nixed 150 more yesterday.

I am 56 YO, I smoked my first joint at 14, and I have been smoking pot off on on ever since, based on how I am able to find a supply that does not incriminate me. I fathered 4 children, so my testes seemed to have turned out fine. I have a 112 IQ. I served 22 years in the AF flying transport aircraft. I hold a regular job and have not missed a day of work because of pot. I have never had the urge to try anything stronger, I drink good beer and avoid anything stronger because of the after effects of liquor. I know a lot of people just like me, so the argument that we are all a bunch of sloughs is debunked in my book.
Prescription drugs are cited as being a major problem in adolescent drug deaths, teenage alcoholism is on the rise, and teens are still smoking cigarettes, all of which can be obtained in any household.
Legalize it, tax it and control the sales just like you do for alcohol, tobacco and firearms, hell there is already an agency to do that.

This isn’t surprising; I work on a DoD installation and witness wasting of dollars every day. I maintain the equipment used in my job and have to buy all my supplies through a contractor operated supply outlet located on the installation. An example of some things are motor oil, I pay 9 dollars a quart for 30 wt oil, 15w 40 for diesel engines is 85 dollars a gallon, a tube of grease is 6 to 8 Dollars and the list just goes on and on. I could purchase these items on the local economy paying 3 dollars for the 30 wt, 15 a gallon for the 15w40, and 3 for a tube of grease, but I am not allowed to do that.
Now get this, the contractor buys all the stuff from GSA for a pittance and resale’s it back to the Gov’t.
I have complained to my superiors to no avail and basically been told if I want to keep my job, to keep my mouth shut, and that this is just the way things are. I have written letters to congressmen and senators which so far I have seen no action.
So $20 million for firewood is no surprise.

    @Dora States:
Define superpower? Spending the most of all countries COMBINED on the military,
while the country falls apart and 23 million are un or under employed?
So it’s all about ships and planes to you?

Who do you think builds all those ships and planes, tanks, rockets, artillery, makes all the ammo, assembles all the weapons, makes all the uniforms, and all things used by DoD? How about all the civilian employees that keep the bases running and take care of all the chores of running an installation? Let’s drastically cut the spending and put more Americans on the street to look for work that does not exist outside the military realm. Talk about un and under employed, uninsured, and will have to look to the entitlement programs, but maybe that is what you want, more people dependant on govt handouts instead of being productive for the govt.

They are preying on the common persons lack of interest and knowledge. Most people are concerned with getting a paycheck and worrying about how to keep their head above water with the cost of gas and food and utilities and everything involved with raising a family. Time is a premium and they only hear these ads while driving to work or to spend a fortune at the grocery, or taking the kids to school, or catch a snippet on TV, and they think Oh My Good , how awful, How could someone do such a thing. People just do not have the time to think about or know what the real issues are.
