Considering when you look at all the companies (19 at this time) that have gone under or are in major trouble that received government money Krugman’s insignificant billion dollars quickly becomes roughly 5 billion. You have to wonder what this number will look like a year or 2 down the road considering that new companies are being added to this list at an alarming rate.

Wasn’t really going to comment on your supposed truth but figured I couldn’t let this comment on the IAEA pass by.

And before you claim bias by this site this stance by the IAEA can be found at multiple sources with just a simple google search. So tell me how that stance equates to Iran not trying to get nukes? It doesn’t.

So you would prefer Iran continued unabated in destabilizing the middle east? You have no problems allowing them to get nuclear weapons? The spread of their radical ideology does not faze you?

Of course those of you on the Left probably don’t see these facts about Iran because it has no room in your idealistic liberal fantasy world where reality is not allowed to intrude. All I can say is good luck with that philosophy considering that reality has a habit of jumping up and biting you in the azz while you have your head buried in the sand. :)

Israel may very well be bombing before the elections but don’t expect the US to be. Obama is in reelection mode where policy revolves around what is best for his chances to get reelected. With that in mind it has been obvious for some time now that he is trying to defer the issue of Iran until after the elections even to the detriment of the US and world community. I think the only way we see this strategy change is if it is looking desperate for his reelection, then all bets are off and I can see them radically switching their position.

I see that the economic sanctions are working wonders with Iran. :)

They are working so well we have Iran not only totally ignoring US and international pressure on its nuclear program but they are now threatening to build 2 new reactors as well as further enrichment of their fissionable material. They are working so well we have assassination and terrorist plots both abroad and on US soil popping up left and right. The sponsoring, if not in some cases of outright providing of manpower, of terrorist groups in the surrounding countries all in an effort to destabilize the countries and the region are another indication of how well economic sanctions work.

You would think that after 33 years worth of administrations and their failed attempts to control Iran through sanctions that at some point our government would get a clue.

Considering my mother is a Democrat and I have seen some of the outrageous falsehoods that they have mailed to her from the DNC and other organizations from on the Left all in the name of getting donations I find the hypocrisy of this site truly amazing. Add in a president, democratic politicians Main Stream Media, he!! the Left as a whole, who use spin, manipulation of facts, omission of facts, etc… to turn stories and events upside down where what is presented no longer represents the truth and/or the reality of the situation and you have to wonder if this site would be better served discounting much of what the Left has to say.

I find it interesting the Left’s idea of justice. Where the perpetrators of crimes or transgressions are considered the victims while at the same time the true victims end up paying dearly in one way or another. And Heaven forbid someone try to step in to help defend a helpless victim or worse yet try to protect themselves from becoming a victim for they will meet the wrath of the government and its justice system. An extremely biased justice system I might add that is now led by Holder’s DOJ where it makes a mockery of justice all the while advancing the Left’s political agenda.
And some people wonder why our country is spiraling down the toilet. It is not to hard to figure out when you consider that the morals and values have been so badly turned and twisted that many no longer know right from wrong. And for those that still do know and try to uphold and live these morals and values many times they are punished for it and in many cases quite severally all the while the guilty party gets off with a slapped wrist at worst.
So let us never confuse true justice to that of what the Left considers justice. Because they are not remotely related whatsoever.
