Even for actors? Even for people attending a medieval faire? What about people that do so just because they enjoy it? Are they hurting anybody?

You say it is foolish, you are free to think what you want, but I would imagine that there people in the world that have looked at you are wearing at some time and thought that you were wearing something that made you look foolish.

Additionally, if this guy is being investigated/charged with election fraud, then let that be handled on its own. That illegal activity has no connection to what he does as a hobby, no matter how odd it may seem to some.

Knowing something about history and re-enactment groups, it really sounds like this is being taken entirely out of context.

Putting his politics aside, the focus is on his activities that aren’t practiced by the mainstream. What he does on his own time is his own business; no one is being coerced against their will to do things they don’t want to do… but that is not what this article would have you believe.

I seem to recall a gentleman in Ohio that ran against Marcy Kaptur that was labelled a nazi because he participated in a WW2 german historical re-enactment group. There was a picture circulated in a german military outfit that was used as “proof”. By that standard, any actor that has played a nazi in a movie is automatically a nazi. Any actor that has played a Viking is automatically a pagan.

This whole story is setup like a hit piece.

There is a passing resemblance, however I think it is bit overblown. Turns out a lot of people can look like a lot of other people (and no, that isn’t a racial slam). But even if it was intentional on the part of show’s producers I couldn’t care less. Is the president (whomever he might be) fair game for such a depiction? I say he is. It isn’t the first time a president has been compared to the devil. In this country it’s called freespeech.

Freedom is a comlicated thing. Even if this was an example of the worst kind of freespeech, it should be protected. If it offends you, then fine. I believe you have a right to be offended, not a right to NOT be offended.

It’s called freedom… Enjoy it!

With a growing societal disregard for human life and a continuing drop in human compassion this shouldn’t come as a surprise. This will make the rationing of health care all the easier. Another progressive win.

As much as I appreciate the gesture, Rand Paul is hardly the first to do so. It is just that today, he is the loudest. Sen. Richard Shelby has returned more money to taxpayers than any other senator — about 40 percent or $1.2 million a year.

Given his attitude and past comments, who’s to say he was joking. Regardless, the double standard is obvious, but when will liberals ever be called for it? Time to stop giving people like Mr. Fox the power of our time and attention.
