  Helen – Well I’m 22 now (in university) and was going to school by the age of 5, as most of us were. That equals 18 years, pretty standard. And I’m a little confused by what you mean by paying for my school. Yes, you must pay taxes that go to public schools, but I’m assuming you and your kids went to K-12 so your taxes paid for a service you took advantage of. As far as after that, public money didn’t pay for my school. Mine and my parents’ did. Aren’t you proud of us?

  Variable – You keep claiming that, but I’m a real person right here telling you I went to those “liberally indoctrinated” schools and didn’t experience an ounce of what you’re describing. You can’t just convince yourself that teachers MUST have been telling students that Laura Bush was fat and then say its true. It didn’t happen, I was there.

  Hey crazy people- I’ve been in school for the last 18 years of my life. The “liberal indoctrination” that you speak of never once included derogatory physical descriptions of a single person, and certainly not about First Lady Bush. Say whatever the hell you want about “liberals started it!” but leave it to you uneducated low-lives to think its OK for a teacher to make any person’s physical appearance a topic of discussion in a classroom. That is so clearly not political that it proves you all have a much deeper seated hatred of the Obamas than just politics Hint-it has to do with their physical appearance!

  Listen: part of being an American is loving, or at least accepting, our democracy. We all have lived under presidents, administrations, congresses, etc. that we didn’t agree with. We say to ourselves “well this sucks, but it will be over soon enough and that’s why I love America!” If you think you shouldn’t have to endure 8 years of a president that you don’t like then you are diametrically opposed to our democratic system, and American ideals in general. If that’s the case than you will never be happy in America, so go ahead and find another place. See ya.

  You guys are not doing yourselves aaaaaany favors here. Has it ever occurred to you all to try to not completely embody the hateful, scared, uneducated hillbilly stereotype that the (gasp) “mass media” portrays you as? That would be the first step in disarming them.

  No wonder you conservoblog people have a reputation for being isolated in some scary Deliverance-esque backwater with no education or world experience. You are apparently chiefly responsible for perpetuating the stereotype yourselves! ALL of these United States are integral to our country, including my beautiful state of Michigan. Which, by the way, is considered conservative on most fronts and is a favorite among hunters. Ever been here?

  Well aren’t you a gem.Trust me, you’re not winning any arguments with rational people when you can’t manage a single discussion of homosexuality without throwing in sexism and basic spelling mistakes. And in the end, isn’t your mission to convert people to your belief? You might (emphasis on might) achieve it better by being more sane.
