That just put a huge smile on my face. That was good to see an officer doing that for a young kid and its a great way for the kid to see that police as there as friends and to help and hopefully this will go a long way in that kids life to know and realize that police are on their side and their for them. Its a shame that yes there are some bad apples in the police force, but thankfully that is the exception and not the rule and hopefully doing things like this will be beneficial to both the police and the people they protect, two thumbs up.

My God… it amazes me that almost everyone survived that kind of a crash.

Again – Muslims have to learn to assimilate into Western Society, if they cannot then they should go back to their native countries as they are not capable of existing outside of their culture.

They need to consider tunneling through Donner Pass – the amount of resources that have to be put into keeping that highway open each year with road crews, tow trucks, medical services and so forth is costing California millions and millions. Its a major trucking route that is essential and it may be time to consider a tunnel through Donner Pass to allow traffic to pass more safely and efficiently.

Glenn has a point, they just rehash, and recycle their old portfolio, they are a licenser and publisher of things, but they don’t actually create much of their own anymore.

You don’t have to be an artist to appreciate art, or work in a car company to publish a book of photo’s of cars and so forth. There are atheists that have their own view and still respect other views, then you have the militant atheists who don’t believe and want everyone else not to believe too, and would not publish a book on churches, but would rather see them all turned into parking lots. So you have people of all degree’s.

God helps those who help themselves… so don’t sit around waiting for a lightening bolt, if you want God to win, he will act through you, you need to start fighting for your belief so pick up a phone and contact your local Senators, Congressmen and Governor and tell them you want a bill brought to the floor of Congress specifically addressing the protection of religious beliefs and cite this case specifically showing the need for such a bill to become a law.

  • December 7, 2013 at 11:41am

    This is beyond belief !!!!

I’m telling everyone here and now – contact your State Governors, your Senators and your Congressmen… demand they bring a law to the floor of Congress that states no one should be forced by any government agency, body or law to violate their religious beliefs… this clearly is showing the tear down of religion…

I have nothing against gays, its their lifestyle, their choice… no different than smokers – if they want to smoke, fine, just don’t involve me in it with second hand smoke… it doesn’t make me anymore -tobacco-phobia than this made up homophobic crap…

I don’t agree with it someone’s lifestyle and any business has the right to refuse to serve anyone at anytime, especially if something directly violates their religious beliefs…

So stop griping and complaining on message boards about this — make phone calls, send faxes and emails and tell your representatives to pass a law protecting religious views and freedoms from being forced to go against them by any branch of government… do it now people, the bad guys are doing it on a daily basis to take your rights away, they’ve found their answer, so fight back against them, and tell every friend and neighbor to do the same, you’d better get off your asses before you have nothing left.

You know very well his team is going to fight tooth and nail not to let his numbers fall below GW Bush’s since GW currently holds the distinction of the lowest Presidential approval in US history, so if O goes below GW, that will be the crowning embarrassment to the Democrats.

I can’t wait until this Mc Idiot and the other one – McCain are both voted out, they are a major impediment in getting the GOP on the right track again, the Tea Party is where Conservatives have moved to and they are a middle ground for the Libertarians who are completely fed up with the GOP and its bullcrap…

Its time for the Libertarians to start looking to support a Tea Party candidate when they run in an election so that as time goes by there will be TP members in government and then the next step would be to bring in Libertarians candidates along side them and completely fix the GOP.

Right now the push to go from their RINO’s and lefty-GOPers to a Libertarian position is way too big of a jump and no one is ready for that, but to step to the middle ground with Tea Party candidates and move back to a better right position, get people acclimated and slowly move more to the right to Libertarian positions will work out well for all.

I know quite a few Catholic priests, they all live like blue collar workers in very modest homes with simple cars. I see teachers driving mercedes and living the high life in recent years, they get far too many perks and passes on their salaries and benefits.

If churches are non-for-profits, I can understand that the actual premise and associates expenses are tax exempt and that has nothing to do with religion, it has to do with them being a non for profit. Now to other non-religious non-for-profits allowed for their company personnel, owners, etc given tax exemption on their personal homes and associated expenses? If so, then churches would receive that same fair and even treatment, but if not – this really isn’t a win for the atheists, its a win for the tax code.

This is an example of a CEO running a company in the right way, two thumbs up for Coca Cola.

I feel sorry for McMahon – his hateful and spiteful actions are truly a sign of a scared and petty person. He obviously doesn’t believe in individual right and beliefs, and doesn’t respect others points of view.

I find his twisted sense of perception to be really sad, to actually called those who are trying to bring proper rules, and procedures back to the forefront of the government running itself. For people who want to see the Federal Government to stand in its proper place and size where the nation benefited most and not being used as a tool and toy by the political elite.

He truly doesn’t understand the real world, how government is supposed to work and how people’s individual rights and beliefs, no matter how they align or go against your own is in fact their right and theirs alone and for him to have blasted off this childish tirade against the golf, Senator Cruz and Mr Beck is truly a sad sad sampling of this man’s lack of tolerance and understanding.

This sounds like the opening scene with Nicolas Cage from Air America.
