  Truths about suicide:

  1. no parent wants to bury their child.
  2. it creates a financial burden on family to bury someone.
  3. more questions are created than answered.
  4. it’s a terribly selfish act.
  5. suicide creates more problems for YOU than it solves.
  6. when you kill your body you lose it and all that it offers. eating, sleeping, drinking, and other physical pleasures are lost until you get the body back. (resurrection)
  7. your mental state does not improve just by killing the body. the spirit remains, the pains remain, and the pain you experienced in this life will be exponentially worse.
  8. You leave the world with the sum total of rights and wrongs. And if you’ve not “gotten right with God” with forgiveness and repentance, you can kiss your eternal “inheritance” (life) goodbye.
  9. Whatever the pain, whatever the distress, whatever the problems, life will improve if you improve your situation through work, humility, kindness, and service to others and God.

  Stop thinking about you, and your pain and your problems and start thinking about how you can help others.

Stupid people all over Colorado are rejoicing along with the vice president! In their tiny little heads they just had a “large impact” on criminal behavior. We’re all safer now as a result.

  Fact: americans in general have less purchasing power with their salaries
  Fact: americans slaries do not rise at the rate of inflation
  There’s a difference between greedy capitalism and generous capitalism. 50 years ago generosity gave way to high salaries combined with purchasing power not destroyed by inflation.
  America today works on the model greed capitalism. Gouge your customers. Only pay base market value salaries. and C. CEO’s and executives take away 5000% more than the rest of there workforce….the ones that made it possible for them to make all that money.

  So i have to ask….when does greed make way for generous capitalism again? When do executives fatten their wallets AND their employees, while also increasing salaries?

  There are A LOT of executives who are going to have to explain to God how they are worth hundreds of millions but their employees are only worth 80k or 100k or 150k.

  Generosity is lost on those who love to horde their money while at the same time “giving” their vast wealth in return for their names on projects and buildings.

  How bout their philanthropy start at the ground level of their organization and not after these greedy executives took the vast lions share of the loot.
