personally, I think all 911 operators should be retrained. They’re not on the scene, they aren’t experiencing the situation with the family/friend. It only makes me angry when they demand that I “calm down.” The average citizen isn’t exposed to emergency situations on a daily basis that would result in dulling their senses, so that they could calmly respond and do the right thing. Telling me, “ma’am calm down” only made me more excited and start a tirade about why I was panicky. In some situations, if the person could suddenly “turn off” the emotions, it would appear suspicious. Humans are emotional beings, yet in the courtroom and making a 911 call, we’re expected to react like Mr. Spock.

is this a warning? Is he testing the waters? He’s made that statement before, about not being above the law…just before he broke the laws and the Constitution. He’s gonna have a war on his hands if he tries to stay in office past check-out time!

that’s exactly it; those armed citizens are embarrassing the military. But that doesn’t give the Army officers the right to issue threats. They’re telling the men to report those people to local law enforcement, thus pitting the military against the citizens.

quit going to McD in the 80′s when I found a long, blonde, hair in my breakfast burrito (I had long, black hair at the time). I didn’t call them, just threw everything away and didn’t go back. I don’t go to any of the “fast food” places.

First, God doesn’t have “rules” He has laws. One of those laws is, that homosexuality isn’t allowed in His kingdom. God gave Adam and Eve authority over the earth, but after Satan was expelled from heaven, and Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden, man has rarely exercised this God-given authority. What are those “things” Joel focuses on? What’s his “core” message? The gospel is telling people about God’s kingdom and how to get there; by accepting Jesus and repenting of ones sins. Since homosexuality isn’t allowed in God’s kingdom, why isn’t confronting people with their sin Joel’s “thing” and “core” message?

I won’t vote for a presidential hopeful who hems and haws about this issue. The splinter has become a rotting flesh problem that I want the next prez to clean up.

when I saw they’d been driving 45 min my 1st thought was, “do they live in TX?” Yep, guessed correctly. Used to live there; going to town was an all day event.

if I’d seen that, no would’ve ever known about it…stomp! Yeah, yeah, they eat insects, yadda, yadda. They can eat somewhere else, but not in my house.

I agree with the director 100%, but, where’s the picture??

gay-Christian, what an oxymoron. Homosexuality is the same spirit of deception that was found in the garden of Eden. She, and others like her, make God look bad, and embarrasses the rest of us. Just pray for her.

Christian women need to do our part and dress modestly, which doesn’t equate with ugly clothes. Pastors seem afraid to address this issue. Low-cut tops, high hemlines, skin-tight clothing, see-through clothing, exposing too much skin…I’ve seen this in churches since the 60′s. We live in this world, but we’re not to BE like the world. And don’t start throwing that “you’re judging” stuff at me. Christians are allowed to judge other Christians, it’s the sinners we’re not to judge, cos that’s Jesus’ job (1 Cor 6:1-20). Frankly, I’m embarrassed for him that he made it public, asking people to pray for him to be strong and exert self control when he could do it himself or confide in a close friend. Some church ladies need to talk to her too, cos a lady doesn’t dress like that; the sides of her breasts are exposed. Any nasty, mean, crude, rude, replies to my comment will be ignored. It’s time Christians started acting, speaking, dressing, like the ambassadors for Christ that we are.

I was just wondering why TX had their gold stockpiled OUTSIDE of the state, in the first place? It should be brought back physically, no matter the cost.

why do they have to have a liberal on the show anyway? It’s annoying. LIbs rarely invite conservs on their shows, why does Fox have to do it?

CafeConservtive doesn’t know what he’s talking about; he’s referring to Mat 5:32. Each time Jesus mentions ‘put away’ the word is apoluo. In Mat 5:32 that word divorced is apoluo, release or put away, which isn’t divorce. The men were telling the wives to leave the house without following through w/the 2nd step, handing her divorce papers. Cafe is also assuming you were ‘under conviction’ i.e. wrong or sinned. In Isiah 54:5 God tells Israel He’s their husband; in Jeremiah 3:8 God put away & divorced Israel cos she committed adultery by worshiping idols. God is a divorcee, therefore you weren’t under conviction. Jesus said God hates putting away cos it caused people to sin. Naturally He doesn’t like marriages to end, but when bad things happen we should follow His example & go through the steps so finalize it, so there can be healing, forgiveness, & new beginnings.

shaving and soaking; had a good laugh but stay on subject. From what I’ve read the results are inconclusive, and being gay doesn’t make one an expert in genetics. If it were in our DNA then there wouldn’t be any ex-gays, and there would be a lot less heterosexuals and the world’s population wouldn’t be 7+ billion. If it were in our DNA, hetero would be abnormal. I have a learning disability; it’s in my DNA, runs rampant in my family. My mom and siblings have it to a certain degree, some less noticeable than others. My son inherited it. It wasn’t a choice and neither of us have suddenly become ex-disability. Instead of looking to science look to Jesus the Healer. He knows more about this than any of us. Ask and He’ll answer. Seek and you’ll find. But if you can’t handle the Truth then keep living the way you are. But stop telling us to shut up and sit down cos we’re just beginning to fight back. With God for us, no one can be against us!

you didn’t read the whole article; the father chased after the guy, who got away, and followed up with calling police and warning neighbors.
