Hawkish Likud activist tells ‘Post’ he objects to US Christian
broadcaster’s plan to hold Restoring Courage rally near Temple Mount.

American broadcaster Glenn Beck has faced criticism from left-wingers and Reform rabbis in the US and warnings from Arab MKs and Peace Now in Israel ahead of his Jerusalem mega
event set for Wednesday night at Jerusalem’s Southern Wall site.

But Beck has been welcomed warmly by the Israeli Right until Sunday, when hawkish Likud activist Moshe Feiglin denounced him in an interview with The Jerusalem Post.

Feiglin objected to the Christian broadcaster holding his Restoring Courage rally so close to Judaism’s holy site.

“Glenn Beck should do such an event in his court, not mine,”

Feiglin said. “Besides territorial sovereignty, there is also a concept of spiritual sovereignty. When he holds his event so close to the Temple Mount, he is supporting us physically but undermining us spiritually.”

Feiglin noted that Beck was purposely holding his event close to the site where, according to the New Testament, Jesus overturned the tables of the moneychangers where Jews on
pilgrimage to Jerusalem redeemed funds for sacrifices that
would be made in the Temple. He said this was problematic,
because the incident has been a source for anti-Semitism for
    centuries.

  • They really want to punish the small business as we see in Obama’s tax increase talk. Otherwise he would want tax increases on huge corp. while keeping taxes lower for the small businesses.

How do you define a “small business”?
Warren Buffett has about 20 employees – HE qualifies as a “small business” too – he says he and other high-income earners like himself should be taxed at a lot higher rate than the loophole-riddled rates that were written by Congress for them.

Read what he says about how the extremely wealthy – less than 2% of Americans – shelter their vast income in loopholes while the middle class is left holding the bag of paying for government, and his proposal for tax reform here:

Not Jewish enough for Glenn Beck – nor Israeli enough

Undeterred by being dropped from Fox, or by the fallout from having compared the victims of July’s Norway massacre to Hitler Youth, the media personality has assumed a prophet’s intonation in urging his followers to stand with him in Jerusalem on August 24.

  • Tea Party
a wholly-owned corporate-interests marketing scam using duped volunteer labor to carry the water for their goals of replacing democracy with plutocracy and corporate dictatorship.

    .

  • And lest one suspect for one moment that he’s not entirely serious, Glenn Beck tells followers that he’s ready to give his all for the Jewish state. On his website, standing before an Israeli flag, he declares in a promotional video clip: “I will protect. I will defend. I will stand. I will speak. And in the end, if it be His will, I will die right alongside my brother. That is the stand.”

“And yet he was more them than they were,” wrote Howard Jacobson of a very non-Jewish character who wishes he were Jewish, in the appropriately riotous and perplexing 2010 novel “The Finkler Question.”

He “felt more for what they stood for than they, as far as he could see, were capable of feeling for themselves. He wouldn’t have gone so far as to say they needed him, but they did, didn’t they? They needed him.”

  • “..they identified the Israeli Allies Caucus Foundation as a lobbying group currently lobbying Congress on legislation when, in fact, they’re a 501(c)3 charity.”

This IS a lobbying group – period – not a “Charity” of any kind even if they are a legal non-profit.
    from their website:

“About the International Israel Allies Caucus Foundation
“Pioneered by MK Rabbi Binyamin Elon, the International Israel Allies Caucus Foundation (IIACF) is dedicated to the purpose of promoting communication and information sharing between parliamentarians and legislators the world over who share a belief that the State of Israel has the right to exist in peace within secure borders.”

    LOBBYISTS.

Too bad for Glenn – he really wanted to have the Republicans trapped into endorsing another religionist con-man – Glenn Beck – the same way some were snookered into endorsing Sun Myung Moon at the event where he declared himself the Risen Christ and King of Planet Earth. Boy was THAT embarrassing!!

Boehner: much smarter than Beck thinks.

I was laughing out loud listening to Beck rage about this today.

FAKE rage, of course, because Beck is a phony Elmer Gantry character who nobody cares about anymore except to laugh at him.

  • Should Obama Take a Vacation Right Now?

    August 18, 2011 at 10:08am

    In reply to NOBALONEY.

White House spokeman Jay Carney defended Obama’s eating
two Big Burgers a day by saying “The President is very
active and his playing golf for two hours every day keeps
his weight down so he doesn’t have to worry about a few
    extra calories.”
When asked about the enormous expenses associated with
Tunnel One Carney responded by reminding reporters that
the Tunnel will be a permanent part of future Presidents’ travel
logistics and that “someday, long after Obama’s second term, a far-
future Republican president may be the one using Tunnel
    One.”

Total costs for Obama’s layabout on the Vineyard are
expected to exceed $15 million per hour.

  • Should Obama Take a Vacation Right Now?

    August 18, 2011 at 10:08am

    In reply to NOBALONEY.

will be used on the Vineyard to allow Obama
and his huge entourage to stroll around eating ice cream
without the blistering Vineyard 82 degree heat melting
the stuff to drip all over his blue long-sleeved shirt
[another unsolved mystery - why does Obama always wear
long-sleeved shirts? could it be to hide the scars from
the needle maks left during his college druggie days
during which he admits to smoking pot, or could they be
intended to hide Obama's old Chicago GANG tattoos?].

The Tunnel’s various sections can be broken down to create
shorter-length tunnels such as the one from Obama’s
$50,000 per day rented beach-front mansion to the private
beach protected by a hundred Marines positioned along the
beach and the two Coast Guard battleships anchored
offshore with their guns aimed directly at the offices of
the Martha’s Vineyard Republican Club, a hang-out for the
few conservatives who still vacation here and are
considered to be possible security threats due to their
sympathetic attitude regarding the Tea Party, and another
short section can be towed around for instant deployment
anywhere Obama decides on impulse to visit, such as his
sneaking off to Jerry’s Burger Joint, famous for its 3,000
calorie two-pound Big Burger twice a day when Moochelle
    is busy with the kids.
