  The greatest mistake that conservatives make is to underestimate the liberal tendency towards long range goals. The average liberal doesn’t think any further than the next “obamaphone”. But the liberal leaders in this country do apparently stupid things with long range effects.

  This list is not to weed themselves out. It is to ask all the liberals to become a government snitch. The police can’t watch everyone. So, they ask your neighbor to report any time you do anything in the least bit questionable so the police have justification to confiscate your weapons.

  The Constitution doesn’t need to be amended. It just needs to be ignored. They’ve been doing it for years. As long as the media is complicit (not a problem) there will be nothing to stop him.

  The only thing that would stop it is the Supreme Court. Yes, they would vote against it. But if public outcry is high enough, you can say goodbye to the 9 robes.

  WHY is it that liberals constantly say gun ownership is about hunting or home defense? The 2A was always about private citizens protecting themselves from an overbearing government.

  But that would mean that liberals have to admit that there is such a thing as too much government.

  Here’s the twist:
  We don’t care if the criminals know. We care if the government knows. But if the gov already has a gun registry, they know–and it’s public record. So why is this bad? Here’s why:

  The government can’t just take guns away on their own. But to have 50% of the population become government watchdogs is much easier. Now a liberal “anonymous tipper” can report “suspected” infractions of the law. The police come. The guns get taken until a trial which will be a year or two away. In the mean time, the owner cannot pass a background check for a new gun…

  It’s all part of the plan. How long have 2A supporters been saying that registration is the first step to confiscation? It is as plain as can be.

  Obama is going to paint Romney as a novice when it comes to foreign policy. This is coming from the guy who said that he was qualified in foreign affairs because he lived in Indonesia as a child. Like he even remembers any of the social issues that faced the country as a child.

  At least Romney was in France AS AN ADULT for two years. And one of his best friends happens to be Israel’s head of state.

  I’ve often thought that I was 100 miles north while the two contenders were 5 miles east and west of each other.

  Today I find myself 100 miles north of Romney while I’m 200 miles north of Obama.

  When we pull on the tug of war, Romney is pulling north just like me. So, for now, he’s not the lesser of two evils. He’s pulling the same direction as I am.
