  If people or towns insist they need federal money to do anything, then they are going to eventually be led around by the nose. We must stop thinking of the federal government as the sole avenue of getting things done. This town needs to move on and do what needs to be done and stop whining about the government.

  Less than one week after the election and all manner of information comes out. Bill, you could have said this when it meant something but you wouldn’t. Now its just joining what will be the never ending faint chorus of “oh crap, what do we have now”. Too little too late. I’m not watching Fox News, they pretty much sold out.

  Wallis, poster boy for the progressive ideal of remaking God in their own image. “Come try some of our god, he’s new and improved, loves everyone and everything, no sin, no hell . . .” Good news is that there are strong Biblical churches throughout this land, and people are humbling themselves before God and seeking new life. If you are a christian, you need to find these groups and grow grounded in what is true and good so that you can hold firm in the comng storms.

  A or C but a big one that will come soon is a squeeze on agriculture. As the dollar dives, commodities rise and farmers who have surrvived natural diasters and higher inputs are doing well. They can not allow private ownership of something as essential as the nation’s food supply. Something will be coming down soon.

  I’m having a hard time listening to liberals who accuse us of whining like children and that we should just suck it up and accept the people’s will. We need to come together. Granted I wasn’t tuned in to politics in the early Bush days but one thing that did spark my interest was the personal hatred I saw coming from the left. I thought it was terrible. We know what “coming together” means in lib land and it aint pretty. No, conservatives will hunker down and do what they can to protect themselves and their families.

  NPR says FEMA is doing a great job. So relax people, Obama’s got it covered. Personally I feel no motivation to send any assistance to people who have replaced reliance on God with reliance on government. I will be very careful with all charitable giving. I feel sorry for the good people living among the savages, hope they try to relocate soon.

  We just finished picking our “crop fields” which kept our family of four busy for almost 2 months, plus work for five other people. It actually involves some skill, a clear mind to run the equipment, and a willingness to put in some long days. I doubt this lad or anyone in his family would have the skills or motivation to be of much use in agricultural production.

  The Mormon church evolved their thinking on priesthood for African Americans but in liberals eyes, that doesn’t count, they must be held to the original belief. Obama evolved his thinking on gay marriage, but that counts and completely erases his previous belief. Everyone got that???
