  Add to that, that the only way to be “in good standing” with the Lord, is to believe on His Son, and be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, for the remission of your sins.

  Actually, Dave it is the Word of God. Read it for yourself. It is not made up by men. It is the truth, and it will set you free. The pages that he tore up were just pages, but the Word of God can never be destroyed. Even if you hate God, or believe He doesn’t exist, He still loves you and does not want you to suffer eternal torment.

  It is too bad most people know very little of the history of Christianity. It was groups of people who perverted the Word of God, and formed their own “churches” with their own ideas of what they wanted Christianity to be. The Catholic religion was one of these. Through coercion and violence they “converted” much of the world to their religion. True Christianity was never lost during this time of history. If people would only follow what the New Testament has laid out for us as the only guide we are to follow, we would not have all these denominations with all their traditions of men, all the things that are not allowed, such as homosexual preachers, women who are usurping authority over men in the churches, etc. Read the New Testament with your heart leaning towards understanding what the Lord wants.

  CoGod, you are partially correct. You also have to be baptized for the remission of your sins. If you don’t do that, you have not yet become a Christian.

  I wouldn’t want to be married by a homosexual female, anyway. Or, any female. I didn’t know the Baptist were allowing females to preach now. Women are not supposed to have that sort of authority over men. And for any person who wants to pervert the word of God, and say that marriage between a man and woman is the same as one with same sex people, is just ignorant.

  If this really works, it’s amazing! I know of a child with leukemia who is about to go to St. Jude’s. If only he could get this therapy, and be cured. I would love to see the hospitals emptied out of cancer patients.

  It doesn’t matter how much these people try to “explain” their so-called religion, it just sounds stupid. Like one person told me, “How could mohammed know about cleansing rituals, if he wasn’t a prophet of God?” Seriously? It is impossible to have an intelligent conversation with a mohammedan due to their ignorance.
