  • The State dept? Who gave them authority over me or this company?

    International law?

This is a new age zip gun, and I would say this freak out by the govt. is very revealing. Be wary.

  • Good article!

I’m not sure armor and armor doctrine was the best thing we used in WW II, but it was very important. Probably generalship was more important, and Patton and Ike are sterling examples. They also reflect how personality can be used as a lever, and one thing we learned, informally, in officer training was that it takes all kinds. Petraeus certainly fits the all kinds meme, and I’m very glad he served when he served.

Also on the WW II lessons, we were a very adaptive and nimble military throughout that war, and ingenuity was a hallmark of the American effort. Marshall had that trait.

Afghanistan has more strategic value than many recognize. The jury is still out on what benefits we will see from our long involvement there. I feel it is critical to consolidate what we can from the efforts there, and make sure the end game is a big lever that defeats Islamisism, at a minimum.

  • I understand the Austrians voted to annex with Nazi Germany.
Obama’s policies parallels much of the political platform of Naziism.

  • Legal to hunt humans, and PTSD is new since Iraq? I will be kind and say this congresswoman is a glittering jewel of impenetrable ignorance, instead of calling her a head up her a$$ totalitarian with delusions of grandeur. So glad I stayed calm, there.

  • Not surprising that he voted from an isolationist viewpoint to confirm Hagel.

I’ll say it again. The reason we liked the cowboy westerns as a society back a few decades ago was that they illuminated our individualist roots. High Noon pits 1 man against the decayed, yellow society of his small western town. He faces a stated threat from criminals, and has the ultimatum of leaving town before noon, when the gunslingers will de-train and supposedly kill him.

Now, bear with me and I’m going to bring the analogy forward to today. The conservatives follow this argument with no problem. But, I feel it is time to detail for the regular reader, whose reason is poorly developed. Paul wants America to tend it’s own garden. Fine. Now comes the train, with North Korean nuclear missiles on board. Hezbollah, and Muslim Brotherhood ride with them. Now, do you leave town?

  • So police use guns to intimidate and draw them to coerce? Didn’t think so. Next slide.

  • I don’t like it one bit, but it looks as if the most liberal states are going to “test case” these extreme bills that take the right to own firearms into the state’s hands. God help us.

  • I get so tired of hearing that socialism and communism are different. Love the way they marry the two in the curriculum. Also, I thought that flags were overrated? Apparently, a socialist/communist flag is worthy of our young minds’ thoughts, hearts and minds.

This is why the sucker-punch was invented, and needs to be re-introduced in public discourse. We are on to you, liberals.

  • Opening Photoshop in 3, 2, 1…

  • I’d wager at this late date that much of the culture wants to fly, and loves and respects, the American flag. Liberal members of the culture will never get this. They, of course, see only their side of the issue.

American soldiers and veterans, and their families, see the flag, and they think of those Civil War soldiers who would grab the flag and rush it forward in the din of battle. Obama and his supporters get the biggest flag they can find, and lay it on the ground in complete ignorance and disrespect.
