The local idiots in government of Phoenix (on both sides of the isle) voted to approve Common Core 47 to 17, despite many groups (including the TEA Party group I am with) sending a flood of opposition emails & calls to our "Representatives." This is just like Glenn said was going on in Texas.
This looks to be a nation-wide example of the frog in the water pot. They are changing things slowly and discreetly so most Americans (too involved with their own little worlds) are not noticing. I just cannot believe how fast things are deteriorating in this country. I'm beginning to feel like Winston Smith. We must stand strong in our local groups and pledge to each other that we will never submit to the Orwellean world that the progressives are creating, hidden in plain sight.

“Flip a coin” Really? Senator Hudak is not up for reelection so she dosn’t care. Another reason why we need term limits for everyone. Colorado you’re going to hell in a handbasket .
And that is what I believe is the biggest justification for this series .. not that it covers everything in the Bible .. it can't .. but it brings people back to the Good Book. I too will be watching tonight as I have the past two weeks.
That's funny. I'm a Bible believing Christian and I'm very turned off by the series. The problem is all those who will be left with a false understanding of the Scriptures. This was produced by heretics and New Agers. It's no wonder it is popular, it's worldly, as is most things which appeal to the masses.

CNN does not care about Dr. Carsons common sense political views. They do not fit the CNN agenda.
Rand voted for Kerry, Hagel and Lew. He's a fraud.
And Cruz was born in Calgary, can't be VP.
Ron Paul 2016. Keep the faith
@circled...are you serious? You want me to vote for someone that will be 81 the next election day? I like Ron Paul and supported him last time around. However, due to his advancing age I don't think I can support him again. His son Rand is an idiot, although I do give him kudos for an actual fillibuster rather than the nonsense put forth by turtle-neck McConnell. He's such a poor leader that I almost would rather see Ashley Judd in his seat and I have no use at all for any country singer...moron music!

Jay Carney is a joke. The time to get rid of him was a long time ago.

I guess Chris Matthews got another thrill up his leg.

Good job yesterday Rand Paul. NOT! a good enough answer from Holder. Who do they see as an imminent threat? The Tea Party 9/12 groups ect.? Mr. Paul should still vote no for Brennan. Thank You Mike Lee for the no vote on Brennan.

Good try Rand Paul but John Brennan will still be voted in. There is not enough who will follow and join Mr. Paul.
Doesn't matter if he wins or not. We have to start fighting back at some point.

May God bless and watch over this child. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. God always has a plan and a reason why things happen the way they do even though we may not understand at the time.
What an encouragement to parents. Look what greatness was achieved because of a strong mother.

Rand Paul should have voted no on Hagel and voted on principle but i am not ready to give up on Mr. Paul yet but i will be watching to see what he does next. Right now he may be the best we have other than Dr. Carson.
Rand Paul knows that Hagel is actually a step in the right direction. Hagel comes from enlisted ranks and not generals and the military corporations....So hagel probably understands how messed up the system is and how much war sucks.
If Hagel is consistent with his historical statements - we will be less interventionist and less inclined to start another war. I'll drink to that
