Our 8 lb Chihuahua was very good at it .. in the morning she would wait until I told her to go wake up my son.. she would tear up the steps and the next thing I would hear is him saying alright alright I'm up.
Similar to CatB's anecdote, When we visited my wife's family and stayed in their upstairs bedroom they had a stocky, heavy, pit bull/shepard mix and every morning he would RUN up the stairs to "wake us up". It was actually fun for him because he loved having company in the house because everybody played with him. Anyway, he would jump on the bed and just trample us, licking our faces... but he was so heavy he crushed us and stepped on our groins, kidneys, etc. It got to where we would hear him running up the stairs, our eyes would become big as saucers and we would BRACE OURSELVES, protecting sensitive parts and vital organs from the impending beat down. The dang dog didn't know just how big and heavy he was :)
Real women that young girls need to look up to.....Very fine role models......Too bad its the end of the world though.
I think He is going to give us another chance. Make it count!!!

Hearing the teacher saying, get out, leave, goodbye was the most disturbing thing about this video. He was telling her the truth & she wasn’t going to hear it! Teachers are just a tool to promote a agenda.
There's a time and place to have that conversation. When a student challenges you in front of others some will take that and make it into a teaching moment. But to defend yourself in front of others benefits no one. I would have said the same thing to Bliss if his venting disrupted learning. My authority as a teacher would be diminished if I argued with a student in front of other students. I had a boss at a school age care program that argued with 6th grade girls, and those girls treated him like dirt. His arguing only emboldened their resolve to run things their way. Discipline problems increased and no consequences were given. In relation to this scenario I probably would have said to Bliss, "Meet with me at the end of class (or x time) and we can talk."
It's only a matter of a day or two that someone will turn this rant into a song with some beats.
@ParryHotter - that's a Dead Giveaway!!!
Most teachers don't care these days, and the ones who do care are restrained by the ones who don't. The ones who don't care have largely managed to be there for years and they don't want to be upstaged by the ones who do care. The ones who don't care usually have their standard material they pass out and expect you to read and learn while they sit at their desk on their computer. Of course when I was in HS, teachers didn't have PCs in the classroom, but they did just sit at their desk and read. Sure, some cared and tried, but most just wanted us to sit quietly and read.
My experience? The worst teachers were the ones who did little but show movies. In a darkened classroom, practically an invitation to everyone, including the teacher, to go to sleep.
Someone send this into smoyoho (Best auto tuner on YouTube) now!!!
