    “Daniels said that he stumbled upon Romans 8:29 one day while reading his Bible —
    Huh? I’m a newbie, but isn’t Romans one of the most important books in the Bible? Our church has been going verse by verse for months unpacking all the theology in Romans. How does a pastor “stumble upon Romans”?

    I give up. How can anyone turn this into political criticism??? If you could send a message to a newborn about the world, why couldn’t it be this: “It’s about who you are. And you? You’re awesome. You’re made that way. You’re made from love to be loved to spread love.”

    As a Christian and a resident of Overland Park, let me say that this couple in no way represents our City, our State or our religion. I’ve lived in this metro area for 50 years and never heard anyone voice anything like the comments on the ticket. OP is only an hour from Topeka, where the Westboro nuts hang out. Could have easily been them.

    Kansas City, KS (KCK) is the armpit of the universe, eclipsing even Cleveland (previous holder of said title in my book). Drugs, whores, mexican gangs, even a dead body at the end of our office driveway. We are moving back to the ‘burbs” in a couple of months. Can’t happen fast enough. OTHER THAN THAT, Kansas city area is a GREAT place to live. REALLY!!!

    Jeez, Louise. We just lost what should have been a slam dunk knock out of McCaskill. She’s a moron, but apparently Aiken is a bigger one.

    Timmy is here on earth for a purpose and it ain’t football. He is a warrior for God.

    @JackieRogers, Jr.

    Good for you. Biggest point for me is that my ancestors didn’t abort because they were “accidentally” pregnant. In fact, mine had another baby so “the accident” had someone to play with. I tried to continue the tradition but lost a baby at 41. Just not to be. My 25 year old daughter is planning on waiting until at least 30, so the tradition may continue. She’ll inherit that bed and have some stories to tell her kids…..

    Kids having kids is ruining this country, IMHO.

    As a 54 year old whose grandfather was born in 1878, I’d rather have it that way than being the product of multiple generations who started breeding at 15. A family heirloom to me is a bed his dad made during the Civil War. A family heirloom to the other end of the spectrum is an 8-track tape player.

    Cain/West would be a total winner. What we need is to take the race card totally off the table, and show blacks that they have another choice. I have a vision of O’Commie hiding under the podium if he had to debate either one of these guys.
