  • Let me inform everyone not in the state of Virginia that despite this arse of a representative he does not reflect the laws of this state. Ever anti-gun legislation proposed in Va was rebuffed, not one anti-gun bill passed during the last session. We are an open carry state with an excellent gun advocacy group, VCDL that has an excellent record of passing pro-gun laws in Virginia. We have made tremendous strides in advancing laws that favor the law abiding citizens. Yes, Northern Va has fallen into the pit called DC but they do not have sufficient forces to overturn our pro-gun legislation, thank God. The one legislator who attempted to pass laws was also rebuffed on the floor for pulling out, I believe an AK-47 and having his finger on the trigger. He was asked to remove his finger from the trigger which showed his ignorance about properly handling firearms. This state is a pro gun state.

  • Funny, they never said that about Watergate. I wonder, do these reporters EVER think about the victims who simply want to know what happened or is this simply about them?

  • Did anyone noticed what appeared to be a uniform member of the Black Panthers in the march and inside the store?

  • People like her need our prayer. The world is a powerful force and can not be toyed with as it will pull you in. I feel for her and yet I know that God loves her and will accept her with open arms when she sees the error of her ways. She needs our love and prayers. I look at my past and shudder at the things I did but I understand I am a sinner who has been redeemed by Jesus Christ and am still an incomplete project.

  • Funny, the part about the tough love I found very interesting. I am a retired submariner and I saw the same mentality while underway. We all picked on each other trying to find each other’s weak spot and then zeroing in on it. It was like blood in the water the moment we found one and everyone jump on it. The more sensitive members were almost always the weakest when it came to dependability and the moment they would walk into the shack everyone would change how they talked around him.

  • Not much to say here, a child being molested is every dad’s worst nightmare. They will live with this nightmare for the rest of their lives.

    In reply to KC1.

@ libsalwayslie Really!! Amazing that you would show your own level of immaturity while attacking others.

  • @Third Archon In your haste and folly you obviously are ignorant of God’s love for all of mankind. He hates sin but loves man. Sin destroys and he only seeks what is best for us. He no more loves the sin of homosexuality then say, murder, lying, adultry… But his love for mankind can never be questioned. Our Creator came in the flesh, was mocked, spat on, ridiculed and ultimately crucified. This God who bored our sins could have, in a blink of an eye utterly destroyed man for their arrogance. Instead he redeemed you through his death so that you could come before Him. Now I am having a real hard time seeing this hateful God you seem so occupied with. Tell me, what other religion advocates our God coming in the flesh and dying so he may redeem us? how can this possibly be a hateful God?

  • Retired US Navy Submariner here, I have mixed feelings about this but I am going to put my trust in the Navy Seals Commanders who ultimately had to sign on for this. I don’t think any of this would have been possible without their approval. In all honesty they derserve any accolades and recognition but I suspect that many in the Seals do not like having their secrecy exposed to any degree. I know we in the sub community felt similarly when the sub community started to receive attention. We took pride in the Silent Service motto. Regarding good military movies, K129 was an excellent movie of an actual incident off our coast during my service. I can vouch for it.

  • To all of you thinking this was excessive force, get a life. Fear for life means precisely that and was justified based on this video. I watched this video and even walked it through slowly and even when the 2nd officer drew his weapon and fired the man was still up and moving. It is not their fault this man is dead, it is the fault of the criminal who would not heed warnings, who resisted the taser (that would cause all sorts of alarms with the police) and then went in the direction of the officer with his weapon. At that point, all bets are off. It is absurd to think that a bullet or two was all that was needed, the man resisted the effects of a taser! I pray I am never in a similar situation but if I am I intend to ensure that the threat is completely neutralized.
