  This is a 40 minute flight on a small regional aircraft. Likely no first class, so no drinks prior to takeoff and/or reaching cruising altitude, and drinks are picked up on descent. How many drinks could he slam down in approximately 20 minutes? Drinking age on US aircraft is 21 or the choice is coffee, tea, soft drinks or juice. If he were intoxicated prior to boarding he would have been denied a seat. Interesting.
