  Well, Rand Paul just lost me and apparently others. Perhaps his tutelage under a father who couldn’t care less about the fate of Israel or the Jewish people had an impact. Wrong vote, Rand. Wrong team, too. Sad but true. You “coulda’ been a contender.” Not any more.

  Following this train of thought, I assume Ron Paul is going to die by scalpel. He’s apparently too stupid and insensitive to have been President. Thank heaven he was never my doctor.

  Viktor Frankl, in his book Man’s Search for Meaning, writes that while in the concentration
  camp he learned “to find beauty in a floating fish head.” This head in dirty water was the “meal”
  the Nazi’s provided. Frankl shares that only by bringing “meaning to suffering” were he and others
  able to survive.

  Beauty brings joy. Joy heals. This is the need for joy in suffering…to heal and move beyond it.

  And so it is with an admittedly heavy heart that I write: May the families of those angels in Sandy
  Hook, who on our behalf have been called Home, find some measure of joy still in their lives that
  they in time may begin to heal.

  May those of us who remain send then Light and find meaning in their suffering. Then perhaps we
  can begin to mend the broken world we have created and perpetuate daily through our false belief
  in separation and all that is material.
