The only energy crisis we have is the fact that we don’t produce it. We have all the energy we need but we don’t allow ourselves to use it because of a commie-lead agency known as the EPA.

Ummm……I like how people are taking the responsibility off of her Dad. He is the one who let her pose naked at 15. He is the one who got her into the business. He is the one that said on network television that his daughter was sexy………good luck trying to defend that worthless bastard…..

Oh my……A story that turns out to be a non-story gets people so worked up. They gave the explanation in the story of why it was like that and still we have to attribute it to devil worship. The story did exactly what it was designed to do….make normal people go bonkers! LOL

I feel sorry for you dose. You are going to be the one they take first because you are the easy one to get and the whole time they are violating your life up and down you will be wondering why.

For those of you that think this is going to be a wake up call I would just point out that two airliners were crashed into the World Trade Center and what was the result? We picked and poked our way through a politically manipulated 10 year war in 2 countries that solved absolutely nothing. You can argue over what we should have done but the fact is that the American people came to accept the war as a part of every day life. We will continue to be in the middle East for the foreseeable future and will continue to accomplish nothing. This event will not bring any of us any closer it will only divide the already divided among us even farther. We as Americans no longer have what it takes to face a problem like this head-on. We are too wrapped up in our political correctness to address issues like terrorism. Already the President has said that we not only want to know who did it but why. I ask any of you does it really matter why? We have undone ourselves from top to bottom as a nation and we continue to ignore the real problems this country has. Like I and many others have always said, all one has to do is look at history to see where we are headed. We are too arrogant as a people to think that history can show us the way. We are constantly thinking that we are above the laws of nature. We think that we can do what many other civilizations have done and do it “better”. I am living in a dying Nation and it saddens me to think that our children may not know freedom at all.

Hey Marine, It is precisely because of the house that he doesn’t want it coming up. Do you actually think it would be beyond our limp-wristed repubs in the house to go along with a bill of some sort? I have Zero faith in our government no matter who’s side you are talking about (if we even do have a side). They failed to show this kind of stand on health care, tax rate increases and entitlement cuts. What makes you think that they would stand up for the 2nd ammendment?

We get caught up in all these sideline issues like background checks, assault weapons and what that means, mental illness and the like. That is not by accident. If we keep arguing over the minutia then they keep winning the argument. If they say that “more strict laws will save just one child” then they have won the argument. Who in their right mind would argue against saving the life of a child. What we need to start doing is going on the offensive with freedom. Start pointing out that yes, we may be able to save that one life with checks but wouldn’t it be better for our tens of millions of children to grow up free and able to be their own person and pursue their own liberty and happiness instead of eventually being shunned from society or even worse, locked up for speaking their minds or exercising any number of constitutional rights? Come on people, wake up. Stop feeding into all this distraction they are putting out there. Krauthammer (I think I spelled that right) was right. It isn’t about the guns, it’s about the money and the power that brings with it. Use the issue to get elected and keep the power. That is the M.O. for every politician in D.C. The fact that fox was stunned by that should be no surprise to anyone.

Here is the thing with AAALLLLLLLLL this gun control talk. If you take “controlling” guns to it’s logical and ultimate final conclusion you get a country or state that completely bans firearms altogether. But here is the one thing that EVERYBODY forgets. We are a large country, geographically speaking. We also have a large portion of the population that is still smart enough to figure out how to use milling machines and presses. If I had the know-how and the ability, I would be making my own guns. What makes these kooks think that any of this will have any effect on the people that want to own a gun? I’ll say it right here and now: If they took all my guns away, you can bet your sweet arse that I would be looking for someone to build me another one because if it really came down to that point it’s probably a good bet that I would need it.
A thing that people forget also is that we started out as a free nation. All the other comparisons out there that the left likes to look at have never been “free”. They may have more freedom now in Europe but their history is one of Tierney and oppression. Our history as a nation is exactly the opposite. We are going from freedom into tierney oppression. We have never been conquered so we have no appreciation today for our freedoms that we used to have. Take one day out of your life and look at everything you do in the course of it. Tell me if you can do ANYTHING that is not regulated to hell and back by the Fed, State, or local gov

Oh my, now I’m embarrassed. Listen people. I am reading more than one person here that thinks God gave us the right to bear arms. Our constitution recognizes the fact that the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are all God given rights. The Constitution and the bill of rights limits the Federal Govt’s ability to infringe on those rights therefore we have the second amendment to help protect against it. The authors of the Constitution wrote that amendment into law, God didn’t give it to us. Please do not start spewing words in this manner because it takes us all down a notch and a portion of our credibility washes away when we say things like that. I understand that those statements were probably not intended to sound like that but we really need to start thinking a bit more before we race to post these knee-jerk comments. We are no better served by our own false statements than we are of those that oppose us.

  • March 24, 2013 at 2:34pm

And still I hear nobody talking about what the real issue is. You people need to wake up! Sadly, I think you never will. This has absolutely nothing, yes I said NOTHING to do with guns. You could make an argument that it has to do with the 2nd amendment but at it’s core it has to do with only one thing. One single thing dictates what these people focus on and think about 24/7. The one thing that drives these people is taking power away from the population and keeping it for themselves. That’s it. That’s the whole kit-’n-kaboodle. Once they get the 2nd amendment under control it will not stop there. They will keep going until we have no more constitution. All a person has to do is look at what the president and his administration says. Take them at their word because so far they have done exactly what they said they were going to do. They may have lied about the forecast of the results but they did exactly what they said they were going to do. I am tired of people lagging behind on these issues. The leftists are laughing uncontrollably at us because they know that if we keep with the same tactics in fighting these ridiculous people that they will win every time. Stop fighting a reactionary battle. Take this argument to your neighbors, your friends, your family and make these people understand what they stand to lose if we do not win the hearts and minds of Americans.

I’m sorry but I couldn’t even make it past the first couple of paragraphs. Murray says we have different ideas on who government should work for?????? It is statements like these that slip through under the radar and never get commented on. Fascism is running rampant through our society and people just ignore it. They would rather argue over mundane political points such as whether or not the top tax rate should be 34% or 36%. Weather we should cut 100 mil out of medicaid or 1 bil out of medicaid. Who cares what you cut out of any program? The fact that you can no longer disagree with anyone in this country without being called some kind of _____phobe is the real problem. When someone disagrees with you and you have nothing to say other than to start up the slander and fear machine, because let’s face it, it works, that is the very definition of fascism. That is what I am concerned with. That is what is keeping this country from righting itself. Not arguments over numbers that have no place in our society anyways. Killing the country slowly or quickly isn’t the issue. The issue is the fact that these people are killiing the country! Period!

  • March 8, 2013 at 2:30pm

I agree with what you have said but still I wonder: Why did it take this event for people to see who these people are? Why do we always have to wait ’till the 11th hour to understand what is going on? As Ron Paul said in his “farewell” speech on the floor a few months back, ” I can not understand why it is so hard to sell the American people the idea of freedom.” Why can we not look back in history and see the solutions to our problems and support people that will do, or more importantly, NOT do the things that will bring this country closer to it’s roots?

  • March 8, 2013 at 2:18pm

We need people to lead according to their convictions. Speak to me straight during a campaign and speak to me straight when in office. Nobody in my lifetime has ever done that. Our government was designed to be a part time job. Run the farm, go in to D.C., take care of a few things that need tending to and get the hell back to your farm, medical practice, engineering job, or whatever else you happened to do for a living. But, just like all things that men do, we had to invent ways to turn it into a complicated and self-important entity. They turned it into a full time job and ever since have had to make up ways to keep themselves relevant. We are too far gone to save the ship. Anyone that thinks we are incrementally going to get rid of people like McCain and turn this ship around is fooling themselves. You can stand with the GOP and hope to hell they get it someday and continue to lose for a generation and give up all your principles, or we can start voting for people that we actually trust and know will do the job and lose. How would you rather lose? I would rather fight for my beliefs and fall on the sword than willingly put my head in the guillotine. This Government that we have today, whatever it is called, is an absolute joke and to even dignify it with a debate about who is right and wrong is plainly silly.

While I would like to say that It was good to see some resistance in the senate, I would also like to put forth 2 questions: Why are they still not talking? Where were the conservative voices for the past 5 or 13 or 21 years? I may be a cynic but I will let time show me who the true conservatives are in this country. Rubio, Paul, Cruz, or any of the other proposed conservatives have at least one person here that they have to work very hard for in order to get my full confidence.

  • March 3, 2013 at 5:49pm

Ok, so in that context I am a homophobe. Does that make my views any less relevant than anyone else’s? I don’t agree with gay people so I am a bad person. I don’t agree with affirmative action either so that makes me a racist? I don’t agree that people that don’t pay taxes get most of the benefits from taxes. I hate poor people too? I guess I am just a hater. Maybe I would be better off if I just went along to get along and didn’t ruffle any feathers.

  • March 3, 2013 at 5:42pm

Well said Never, and No, I do not. However, what we have all been removed from are the facts of our history. We were formed as a nation of Christians. Like it or not, it is the truth. However, we also specifically have as one of our founding principles, the freedom of religion or the lack thereof. Also, the matter falls into the realm of entitlements and the rule of law also. No place in the constitution does it say anything about marriage, but in turn, the constitution has also been amended to give people SS benefits, marriage benefits through the tax code, and other socially engineered benefits through marriage. I would propose that the government along with all of it’s satellite bureaucracies get out of the marriage business all together. If we weren’t so concerned with the benefits of getting married for financial and other fiscally beneficial reasons I don’t think we would be having this discussion right now. Did I make any sense?

  • March 3, 2013 at 5:30pm

Point proven. You didn’t read what I said. I don’t like them, I don’t hate them. The suffix of phobe on any word means fear. Another problem with our society is exactly this: people don’t know the meaning of words or our language any longer. People say things that they do not even understand.

  • March 3, 2013 at 5:17pm

Here is the problem that I have with anything having to do with “Gay”. I do not like gay people. I personally think they are wrong. Does that make me a homophobe? No. I do not fear gay people. I just would rather not be around them. I believe the word that describes the activity of taking peoples individuality and beliefs and turning it on them in order to smear them, make fun of them, or hurt them in any way or slander them is fascism. We no longer value individual thought. We harass people today until they submit to our will. On any issue. I am tired of gay people saying that they want tolerance but if I don’t agree with them they become the most intolerant people on earth. That holds true with any viewpoint that anyone happens to have. Nobody has the right to be heard or understood, they just have the right to say what they want. If I don’t listen don’t call me a gay hater. As the great doctor at the prayer breakfast said a few weeks ago, political correctness is probably the biggest threat to our society that we have. If we cannot have an honest, yes HONEST, debate instead of a shout-down of opposing views then we are doomed.
