  • I like Gowdy as well. I should considering I voted for him. He was swept into office in 2010 with Tea Party support. Jeff Duncan is another good man from SC in a neighboring district. He doesn’t get the committee and chair assignments that Gowdy does.

A word of caution on Congressman Gowdy though. He has a good reputation in our community. Former prosecutor as you can probably tell. Good guy. However, he is a lawyer, don’t forget that. Also, he is highlighting the administration’s endangering the public for political gain for GOP leadership. He did that quite well. So this was a political exercise for leadership which is just fine and necessary. It needed to be pointed out. That’s why he did it with the contention of a fiery prosecutor so that it would get attention. All normal politics but it tells me he plays well with leadership and COULD be susceptible to fall in line with the progressives in the GOP. Just need to be watchful. Although, quite frankly we should all keep on eye on all of our representatives.

  • It was most likely a meteorite. Very high rate of speed and clearly on a non-algorithmic trajectory. Russia’s version of NORAD probably picked this up and based on speed and trajectory you can tell if it’s guided or meteor. Not sure their missiles can hit something going that fast. I Dunno. It could have been a satellite but the fact we have an asteroid coming close makes meteor more likely.

However, a rock big enough to cause world wide damage would be in the several mile plus size. This one was probably the size of a big car. The dash cam video is sweet. You can see the plasma trail.

Healthcare is a responsibility. Gun ownership is a right guaranteed by the bill of rights. You have made what’s known as a false argument.

But I refer you to BhamLyan’s post as the best argument.

  • I don’t give a rip why he was fired. He murdered 4 people. I don’t care if he was nutty. I don’t care if he was smart. You lost me with Bang! Bang! The man murdered the daughter of a police captain that represented Dorner to “take his family”. He even called the victim’s father and taunted him.

Essentially what Hill and others on this thread are saying is terrorism is ok if he was somehow wronged. Or if it’s a sign of systemic corruption. Some of you and Hill say “he tried to handle it the right way” as though that makes the murder of 4 people ok. Then you turn around and say “that’s not what I’m saying”.

Uh, yea that is what your saying.

    I don’t think that way.

  • Certainly not going to name names on this thread but I vehemently disagree with the only person that wrote, in regards to the police, “They have gotten to the point of an almost Gestapo like presence. Not all, but most”.

Most? Seriously? Maybe your a little jaded.

Most are good, not the other way around.

The article simply reports what people are saying. That said, I judge this to be a non-starter. The only truth is that people are talking about it, and by people I mean faceless internet buzz. So the question should really be, was this worth several hundred words. You got a brain and fingers and the ability to read multiple angles on a given story to believe it or not. The nice thing about this story is I didn’t have to read multiple stories to understand it belongs in the g folder for garbage.

So it was worth several hundred words.

HA! Thanks Blaze, you saved me a little time!

.01 %….yea no. The percentage of radicalized muslims is more than 100,000, much more. Relatively speaking, it’s still a small fraction of total muslim population though. It would be difficult to say just how many are radicalized because… we don’t read minds. But given the two main camps, civilization jihadist’s and the “jihad now” crowd, the numbers are easily in the millions conservatively. If you include active and non-active willing radicals the numbers are probably even higher.

I know muslims that live in the middle east and if you understood just how propagandized the masses are to hate the west, you’d know that .01% figure is wildly inaccurate. It’s like a farm and they have multiple generations to pick from. Crop yield is not 100% so the ripest “fruit” are the easiest to radicalize. Not to mention shia/sunni violence.

It would be foolish of you to assume everyone who doesn’t think like you lumps all muslims together with the radicals. After all, you’d be doing the same thing. But that never stops you from stereotyping does it? OBJECTIVITY, you should try it some time.

But who’s the fool thinking you would even be interested in objectivity considering the utter non-sense you’ve posted, slinging silly insults like a child stroking their own ego.

Lastly, this story is a non-starter. A retired CIA officer? Can’t prove anything.

  • Hmm, don’t know what a rhetorical device is do you? Given statements by celebritards recently and throughout Obama’s term, her comments were appropriate.

Clearly some of these people have an unhealthy view of Obama but she certainly didn’t mean to insinuate all liberals have an obsession with our celbritard in chief. Obviously you, keaton and canada, don’t think of O as your daddy or your boss, your boyfriend or God.

    Or do you?

Of course you understand idolizing an elected official reminds the rest of us of some the darkest moments in history. Hitler, Stalin, et al.

You can understand why the rest of us think you need, at the very least, refresher courses in civics and history. Possibly therapy mixed with meds.

Judging by your comments, keaton and canada, Michele’s pointing out the craziness in assigning an inappropriate role for elected officials has touched a nerve with you.

Best of luck with your therapy!

Uh, yea. They did NOT murder the purp. They killed him, huge, gargantuan difference. And I would not describe federal officers as “goons”. As far as the amount of officers on scene, I don’t think it’s Germain. It was not a message to the rest of us or any other paranoid notion.

If you got a message out of this I can only hope it’s not to murder a bus driver, kidnap a kid and hold him hostage in a dooms day bunker.

  • Did Beyoncé Flash an Illuminati Symbol During Super Bowl Halftime Show?

Really? Really? Face-Palm, that took a few brain cells.
