  To SendTheMeteors, Universal Healthcare is not only a threat to our freedom it is a threat to our economy, our lives, and the world as we know it! Let me be the first to say that if there really was some magical, pixie and fairy dust way for everyone to be covered under the best, state-of-the art healthcare I would be all for it. Unfortunately, we live in the REAL WORLD deary and magic & pixie-dust only exist in movies and that bubble around your head.

  Let me try to pop that bubble of yours. Lets see, what do all of those nations you mentioned have in-common? There’s not enough physicians to meet demand so there are Extra-long lines and waiting-times to get their “universal” healthcare. Why aren’t there enough physicians, you might ask? Well since the gov’t took over everyone’s healthcare, they’ve had a complete monopoly, giving them the power to dictate what paperwork doctors have to file, the rules they have to follow, and how much they get paid, and since the doctors didn’t want to deal with all that crap they left. Since the people themselves aren’t paying for their care individually, they no longer have control over where, who, and how they get there care, so the gov’t dictates that, which means less choices and ultimately rationing of medicine, treatment, and in the end you get panels deciding your “end-of-life” care.

  Not quite the paradise you pictured, is it?

  This evil “Bill” and everyone who passed it without reading it, behind closed doors, and on technicalities, reworded it and rebranded it in every which way to get it passed as “law”. It is an abomination to the constitution and everything this great nation once stood for.   Scott Brown is a RINO and has been one since the beginning. He voted for the Jobs Bill (which was the 3rd stimulus bill (and look how far those have gotten us)). He voted for the Financial Reform Bill which has and will grow the gov’t bureaucracy even more. He gave a lame excuse for not voting for Elena Kagan and waited till the last minute to make his decision on her which would have been a slam dunk for any american with half a brain since she didn’t have any quality judicial experience, let alone her far-left positions. And to top it off, he sat with the Dems during the last State Of The Union, and now he’s opposing spending cuts at a time when spending cuts is the only SANE way out of this mess!!! We’ve reached yet another debt ceiling which is over 14 trillion, SIR!!! You and your free-spending crooks, cronies, and communists in California can have him. And as far as I’m concerned, you already do.
