Dem Politician Refuses to Lead Pledge of Allegiance at Meeting: ‘I Don’t Pray in Public’
October 6, 2012 at 11:39am
sorry sicko, my comments are not lame. point one, she took the oath of office. i have taken the oath as well. in such an oath you swear to perform the tasks of that office to the best of your ability. one of the most basic tasks of such an office such as mine, and her’s, is the pledge. as she states, she has not made the pledge since 1954. hence she cannot perform a basic requirement of her post, nor did she the entire time she held such post. as such, she should not have retained her post. point two, the pledge is not a prayer in the least bit. “one nation under God” simply states that this nation is, was, a christian nation. the pledge is not a prayer to God but rather a pledge to our flag. point three, her convictions are so strong that she cant perform the basic functions of her office, but she has no problem pulling out a sawbuck with a reference to God on it, to pay for her quarterpounder.

School Bans Student’s Rosary Over Fears it Could Be a Gang Symbol
June 8, 2012 at 3:51pm
I have to disagree, the Rosary has been around alot longer than these gangs. What if the local gangs start wearing white t-shirts as a gang marker. Do the schools then prohibit wearing white t-shirts? Where does it end?

So, are we saying that it’s okay to profile men in a book store just to be on the safe side, but not okay to profile a nervous acting man of middle eastern descent at the airport? Really?

“I’m sure the president would not have escalated in Afghanistan if he was not as concerned, as Democrats are, that Republicans are going to use not escalating against him in a campaign,” she said.
Well, maybe the President should be more concerned about doing what’s best for America instead of worrying about getting re-elected.

Wis. Teacher Refuses Award From Paul Ryan During MLK Ceremony: ‘Lackey for the 1%’
January 27, 2012 at 9:17pm
I’ll say this for desertrose1960, you can sure throw the bull around. I mean, give me a break. Yes the unions of old were a force for good, “back in the day”. And in those days tv shows were high in moral fiber, Republicans and Democrats were ALOT differnent “back in the day” than they are now to be sure. So please dont try to sell us on these unions of today and try to compare them to the unions of old. It wont fly. Just like all the other things mentioned, they have mutated into what we se today.

Big differnce here. TT declined to attend and respectfully gave his reasons, can we say this fool handled it the same way? apples and oranges.
Wis. Teacher Refuses Award From Paul Ryan During MLK Ceremony: ‘Lackey for the 1%’

I doubt that MLK would have acted that way. How dare this slob for invoking such hatred at a MLK event! Thats the last thing King would have wanted. Only a true hipocrite would show such hatred while stading behind a shield of kindness.
