Sounds like a good idea for now, at least for the next ten ten years or so.

Just an FYI, “second world” isn’t a ranking of how great of a country you are. It’s a cold war term. The first world was America and her allies. The second world was the Soviets and their allies. The third world was everybody else. We now use the term “third world country” as a description of a poor place that’s not very developed, but that’s not what it originally meant.
Thanks, I did not know how 'third world' came about. .... How about every Catholic nation is third world. There is not one successful Catholic nation on earth.
Vote for any Catholic and you are voting for failure, and failure forever.

I’m guilty of that as well. My wife thinks I’m some kind of closet conservative, but really I just can’t wait to see what the Beckbots are outraged about today.

I dunno, you guys on the right don’t seem very welcoming of gay conservatives. I’ve seen a few Log Cabin Republicans on here get mocked.
Why do liberals always ASSUME they know how conservatives think, and always ASSUME incorrectly?
Most conservatives believe in "live and let live" is part of our basic freedoms. They balk when one side tries to force their beliefs down everyone else's throats. When they insist that everyone MUST accept their beliefs but they refuse to accept anyone else's beliefs.
Legally forcing someone to violate their religious beliefs is NOT live and let live.

The only reason you guys are all about state appointed Senators is that most state legislatures are GOP controlled and probably will be for a long while. If it was the opposite you wouldn’t be saying that.

So God gets the credit when good things happen, but none of the blame when bad things happen because of “free will.” Got it. Jeebus, what a house of cards in a thought process.
Why would God - who is Good - get the blame? Jeebus? Oh, so you're an atheist, got it.
good and bad, good and evil, hot and cold, dark and light, jedi and sith................ALL DESCRIPTORS given by man, for man's behoovement!

A prison show featuring a number of lesbians? Something tells me Blaze viewers weren’t the demographic they were going for anyway.

Why is what Soros does reprehensible but the same is ok from the Koch brothers? Shouldn’t they all keep their billions out of our political process?

Michael has no interest in pilgrimages. He even made fun of Beck for going over there playing Ghandi. All Michael wants is to say his piece for a few hours and then go out on his boat with his little dog.

That’s a question for a child psychologist, but my gut reaction is that any more than 5 is just unmanageable.

Oh great. Now every contrary opinion I post on here will get me accused of being an agent of Vladimir.

I’m not entirely surprised this happened and that the parents had no idea. I just can’t get behind having so many children. Not because of overpopulation or any crap like that, but how can you properly raise 19 kids and give them all the attention they need? Some of them are going to slip through the cracks, and that’s exactly what happened here.
I think the parents did know. The first time Jim Bob saw Josh come out of girls' bedroom in the night. Josh confessed. Then Josh did it again, again, etc. Then they took him to shady "Christian" type center for therapy with the sisters. Their religious affiliation is cult like. Very tight, independent Baptist. Very small organization. In March 2002: Jim Bob Duggar tells police his son admits he fondled the girls, and that similar incidents happened four to five times. May 2002: Jim Bob Duggar loses a bid for Senator. Duggar ran on a platform that "rape and incest represent heinous crimes and as such should be treated as capital crimes." AFTER he reported the "pre pedophilia" activity (over the period Josh turned 15. 16 is considered age for pedophile). 2003 another incident, where parents meet with church elders about what to do. The elders say Josh needs treatment. Josh went through a Christian counseling program from March 17 to July 17, where he "did manual labor and had counseling," It's unclear whether the counseling program was with a certified counselor, and Jim Bob Duggar cannot recall the name of the facility. REALLY! According to Jim Bob after return they told police about the incident. The Trooper is Joseph T Hutchens who is now serving 56 yrs on child porn charges. Go figure.

Yeah that’s just great. Because I trust the corporations to protect my data way more than I trust the federal government. Just another fun day in USA Inc.
On a more positive note, is this finally the issue that those of us on the genuine left and those of you on the far right can unite on?

This lib just aced it. So much for “low-information” voters. Of course, I do have a degree in history…

Wow…that was a good answer. I’m not a Rubio fan, but he directly answered the question without being vague and still managed to hit all the right talking points. I’m not even a conservative, but that was kind of impressive.

You have to get a real Katana though. I’d be worried about somebody buying one of those pot-metal replicas and thinking they’re safe.

Only problem with that defense is that if you think about it logically that means somebody who was impotent can’t get married either. And what about the barren?
 April 13, 2015 at 4:20pm
This is so ridiculous. It’s just pure and simple fear mongering. I used to ride my bike all over town without my parents worrying. Was this in the 1950s? No! I’m under 40, this was in the late 80s! AND I GREW UP IN FERGUSON. “Oh, but the world is a more dangerous place now!” you reply. Nope, look at the statistics. Crime is much lower now than in the 70s-80s. Paranoia on the other hand is way up. Apparently.

“Deadbeat Dad” had just gotten a job, and was going to be able to start getting caught up on payments. He got scared because he’d get fired if he was arrested. Should he have ran? No, but he shouldn’t have been gunned down like a dog either.

Once again Matt Walsh shows himself to be an uneducated fascist. He wants to get rid of no fault divorce? Why, so every divorce can be a litigated nightmare and nobody is allowed to move on? Government has no business being in the marriage business anyway, much less dictating how it ends.
As much as I’m in awe of his 3 whole years of marriage, I think I’ll take advice from some of the posters here who were married for 30-50 years instead.
