I thought the law wasn’t passed until after she left? That’s why Kerry uses public email. But Colin Powell for example never did.

I missed the part where she broke the law. Can you point that out to me?

Bibi wanted to talk to Obama. Obama turned him down.

Until the jackbooted thugs come for you. Then it’s different, right?

Simple, it prevents them getting sued for slander/libel. It’s a CYA move. I have no issue with it since I know why they do it.

I asked this same question to my mother who worked for the city of Ferguson for 20 years. She said the basic answer is that although a majority of the population is black, most homeowners are white. Most of the black population is transient. Not homeless, but tend to live in apartments and don’t stay in the city very long. So most of the people with a vested interest in voting because they’ll stay long term control the politics.

I don’t think free speech covers making death threats?

It’s got to suck to be John some days. The left hates him, the right hates him…I guess that means he’s doing his job, but no wonder he’s a drunk lol.

If you want a liberal viewpoint, I’d say you’re correct. I’m pretty sick of the same people being up there since I was in high school. Problem is, who else is there on the left? I like Elizabeth Warren, but no real progressive has a shot at the white house. Same deal with Bernie Sanders. Nobody else is ready because of Hillery. So I’m stuck with a neo-liberal, or whoever the GOP runs. Nobody on that side excites me too much although the social libertarian in me is intrigued with Rand Paul.

I see my point by point takedown of Matt’s paranoia got removed. Maybe it’s not government censorship we need to worry about after all, hmm?
Have a sensible and responsible government that doesn’t constantly devolve into bickering and finger pointing? Yeah that would be awesome…

It’s not really the same thing anyway. Even if O’Reilly was lying, he’s not a journalist. He’s a pundit. I honestly don’t even expect pundits to tell the objective truth because they’re always following an agenda. So I wouldn’t hold O’Reilly (who is terrible and misinformed) or Al Sharpton (also terrible) to the same standards at a network anchor.

Spoken like a true neckbeard. “Hurr she’s ugly. 2/10 would not bang.”
