Desperate? He’s got like a 16 point lead over Ted Cruz in South Carolina, according to today’s poll:

You sound just like Hillary’s fans complaining about Bernie Sanders supporters. Maybe Trump IS doing something right…

Is that his actual plan to make Mexico pay for it? Why doesn’t he say that then? That actually makes sense!

Since when are you such a big Glenn Beck fan, Soy?

  • [-1] February 4, 2016 at 8:23pm

You’re not too smart yourself if you think The Blaze doesn’t take its marching orders from Beck, the majority owner of the site.

It actually really annoys me that nobody on the left can seem to define Socialism. It’s not complicated: Socialism is where the workers control the means of production. What Bernie advocates is called Social Democracy in Europe, and sometimes called “welfare capitalism” in the U.S., where you still have private ownership of business, but industry is heavily regulated and there’s an extensive social safety net (usually in the form of universal healthcare, welfare, basic income, etc.)

There, is that so complicated? Am I smarter than our representatives? Or are they playing games?

Aren’t the odds always 50/50 on the flip though? I thought that’s why talk about things like winning streaks in sports were nonsense. You’re not any more or less likely to win the next time based on how many times you’ve won the flip in the past, because it’s still 50/50. I’m missing something here…

How does it work in countries like Germany, where tuition to state university is free? Are the Germans slaves because of this? Or are we slaves because we all graduate with loans near the levels of what would pay for one’s house?

Geez Bill, get some dignity. That was just pathetic.

You anti Trump people are so absolutist and close-minded. Who said any of those people were evil? They just just don’t like Trump. It goes both ways. Is Michael Savage evil? Is Sean Hannity evil? How about Sarah Palin?

It’s an asinine point anyway. I’m quite sure Bernie knows how the Supreme Court works. Yes, somebody will have to bring a suit. And there are lots of people ready to do so.

Michael Savage was talking about this very thing the other day. He said some have set themselves up as the arbiter of what a conservative is. He said these same kind of purity tests were used in the USSR to people who weren’t considered TRUE socialists. It’s the same argument, just on the right. Interesting stuff…

andrewj5790: You know, many people were saying that exact same thing about Obama and why he was disqualified, and I never heard a single person on this site confront them on it. What’s the difference?

“And on top of that, expecting favors for donating is ILLEGAL. Quid pro quo is ILLEGAL.”

I too listened to Mark Levin last night. Do you have any original thoughts of your own?

I unrelated news, I just doubled my chance of winning powerball by buying a second ticket!

  • January 21, 2016 at 5:21pm

Nothing does. I’m just being devil’s advocate. I don’t even like Trump lol.

Well, Ted’s wife works for Goldman Sachs, so doesn’t he have a point? Do you want a company that manipulates the markets (damn the consequences) for their own gain to have that kind of bedroom influence?

Comrade, I am quite concerned you have abandoned your support for the family Bush. Jeb is still part of the Soviet, da?

Here’s the real answer. We find exo-planets (the ones millions of light years away) by noticing spectrum changes and gravitational wobbles as the planet passes in front of the star we’re observing. This is why we can only find very large planets by this method. Obviously we can’t use these same methods to look at our own star because we’re looking from the inside.

At this point we’re relying on math. SOMETHING is effecting the gravity, and it’s the size we’d expect a large planet to be. We can’t announce “NEW PLANET!” for sure until we see it, and that will probably rely on the next generation of space telescopes.
