  @Bones and Max – I have to side with Bones on this one as he has more objective approach. Regardless, Christians believe Jesus fed 5000 with a few loaves, walked on water, raised people from the dead, himself was resurrected, turned water into wine, Jesus casted demons from pigs but pump the brakes when it comes the literal sense of Satan ‘possessing a snake’ to fool Eve. The the bible is the inerrant word of God or it’s not. Max- “Most of the time its not nearly as complicated as you make it.” . Regardless, 2nd Timothy 2:14 comes to mind.

  In your lifetime? Unless you are like 99 you are probably right. The next major fiscal collapse is the lynchpin that will trigger everything. We are now on the precipitous of that event.

  @godfather – Yes, if you look at everything at face value then your analysis could hold merit. Now change your lens and look at things differently; spiritually. Whether you believe in God (probably not) is irrelevant for this lesson. Evil has existed since the beginning of human civilization. There is one architect that has lived through every civilization and could easily engineer that last 150 years to culminate till now. Call him whatever you like, Satan, Beelzebub, prince of darkness, the deceiver. The ultimate evil could easily orchestrate everything we are seeing now, now prognostication needed.

  Our culture has distorted the original concept of marriage so intensely that all women now get when looking for a husband is a 20 somethin’, video game havin’, basement livin’, skinny jean wearin’, no degree havin’ type of boy.

  Oh yeah, let’s worry about woman being submissive…to whom? Men who could support a family or “love a woman like Christ loved the church” have become like mist in the wind.

  Of course the plan is to corrupt the family at every angle and it’s working. To those that can’t see how the godly nuclear family is being destroyed is a fool. Once that’s destroyed you don’t have a society anymore but social chaos…as we are starting to see now.
