I am 100% for term limits! Take lawmakers from the real world, let them legislate for a few years and then go back to their regular job. Now they get in, get rich, get power and everything they do, every decision they make is geared toward how to maintain that power.

Couldn’t the gay couple have respected the bakers’ beliefs and simply gone to a different bakery? Respect, acceptance and tolerance goes both ways….doesn’t it?

You know…this is pretty smart. Maybe conservatives need to do more of this–think like the liberals: use a liberal. They won the last election, didn’t they? How did they do it? Let’s find out all the under-handed illegal election campaign shenanigans used by the Democrats and use those techniques against them (but not the illegal devices–let’s keep some ethics). We need to know how to block the crap they fling, know how to get around the protective liberal media and protect our candidate from unflattering propaganda.

And then there’s U.S. Representative from Minnesota, Keith Ellison…….
    Stealthy and inside Washington.

Paula Dean gets excoriated for something she said years ago. It was something that everyone around her said in the South those many years ago and she has since stopped using. She sincerely apologized and yet gets dropped by all the sponsors she worked with. This piece of work keeps showing his true colors and his sponsors keep him working. Where are ethics, decency and respect in today’s world? Paula Dean is a decent person, Baldwin is not.

I was thinking how sad it was that Obama was reading off note cards when he was talking about the human loss and devastation in Oklahoma. Do you mean to tell me that our President can’t speak about something like this completely from the heart without having to use a prepared speech? I think it’s because he doesn’t really want us to know what is in his heart. It’s so sad how this President has fooled so many people.

This wonderful, intelligent man is someone I want to hear more from. But, just wait, the people on the left are going to start “Herman Cain”ing him.

Unfortunately, this has been done before. I just finished reading “Mao’s Great Famine” by Frank Dikotter. It happened then too. As a parent, I’d rather have myself boiled and fed to my children rather than the other way around. But people become crazed by such suffering. Let’s take a lesson and look at what a self-absorbed dictator and his yes-men/women can do to a country.

Many of us have been where you and your family are, Glenn. It’s such a hard thing to do. The last thing our Duncan experienced was us holding him in our arms and us looking into his eyes and saying, “I love you”.

Our hearts go out to you all and Victor.

I really wonder if there’s a bit of dementia going on with Mr. Biden. I know he is used to taking the” goofy uncle Joe, I’m just one of you guys” posture, but what he has been saying lately is just weird and inappropriate. Like asking Charles Woods, father of Navy Seal, Tyrone Woods, “Did your son always have balls the size of cue balls?” Sick!

This is a hard-to-believe story because of what Sharia law will allow as punishment. But, I’m waiting for an uprising of woman power in those countries. I’ll bet the women will be even more brutal to the men than the men have been to the women. It may happen slowly, but I’ll bet it will happen.

Sorry Pink ladies, you’re NOT the majority.

And Muslims are so kind to women…and gays….I just don’t get the left.

If I owned a tv station, I’d refuse to put shows on that I found objectionable and it should be my right. They’re not saying that other stations can’t run the program. It’s their opinion. A lot of people hate gays not because of their homosexuality, but because of their militant tactics against people of differing opinions.

Why is it that Romney needs to prove it, but we’re just supposed to take Obama’s word for it?

  • August 17, 2012 at 8:21am

Note to Mitt’s campaign: Ask for Obama to release his college records so we can all see that he went to college in the United States registered as a FOREIGN STUDENT!

I was trying to find out Keith’s background. According to Wikipedia: After graduating with a Bachelors in economics in 1987, he married his high school sweetheart[6] and moved to Minneapolis to attend the University of Minnesota Law School. While attending, Ellison wrote several articles in support of Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam.

“in support of Louis Farrakhan”? Yes, that tells you something about him, doesn’t it?

Unfortunately, the people in his district are like-thinkers and will keep voting for the @$$.

Well, Michael, today you want our government to take away our right to bear arms, tomorrow they’ll take away your right to bear fat!
