Sure there was. Given that it actually happened in that time period demonstrates that point.
Once there was sufficient oxygen in the atmosphere, life took off like a rocket. The limiting factor in life on our planet for a very long time as the oxygen levels.
I'll save some dope the time: Yes I do know where the oxygen came from, don't smugly demand I tell you, because you'll be sad.

Nothing spooky. It would make a nice apartment condominium.
@china clipper - I believe that at least a dozens times someone has responded to similar comments that the image above is an English translation of the Latin image.
In other words, someone looked at the Latin "wheel" and made a copy in English so that we could see it and understand what was written on it.
The rollover text in the HuffPo article specifically says it is a Latin to English Translation, hence modern English.

Cities are mainly slums lived in by the mentally retarded.

Tiny screen. Worthless toy. Reminds me of LCD watches in the 1970′s. You had to push a button that see the time, and couldn’t see it in the sunlight.
I was thinking that, too.
I was also reminiscing about how I craved larger screens in the 1990s. I paid lots of money for a nice 15, then 17 and then 21 inch CRT monitor... the latter weighed almost 80 pounds. Loved it. Could never go back to a smaller one. I don't get along with tiny smartphones, much (much!) less a stupid watch screen.
I hated the LCD watches. Loved the one I had that had bright red LED digits, though. Haha, on a snap on leather wristband, no less.

I imagine that there are drug peddlers and gangsters who make more than 25 million a hear. Leftists probably look up to them too.

I think all pain relievers do that.

If it weren’t for the colonials, there would be no hospitals, cities, medicine or electricity in Africa; and in India, wives would be be burned to death.

With a few dollars and this speech, you can get a cup of coffee at Starbucks.
