  We need a moratorium on immigration immediately. We need to decide who we bring into this country and how they will benefit us. It’s probably too late because we have already been overrun by government-lovers and our next step should be secession. I am just so tired of hearing how great immigration is while 90 million adults don’t work, a record number receiving food stamps and disability. Our high schools are full of kids who’d love to make $8-$16 per hour picking fruits or mowing lawns (which most of the migrants are making $12-$16/hr, not minimum wage). My 15 yr old son is used to hard labor and so could other children and hey, it might teach them responsibility and get them off the streets making babies and trouble.

  That is not US money, it’s the property of Beyonce and Jay-z (who earned it by the way). We are not subjects of this government, we created the government to protect us and our property and to enforce contracts. Now this government tells us where we can travel, what we can put into our body. It’s no wonder why it’s so easy for the left to indoctrinate our children in our schools and universities. Most of you on the right are too stupid to question authority. In fact, you love big government, just like the left, as long as its doing your bidding.

  I wanna go back to old school McDonalds, with the old fries cooked in lard with beef flavoring. There was nothing better than when I pulled the 1/4 lb directly off the grill and slapped it straight on a freshly toasted and dressed bun and the hot grease dripped down the sides after turning the cheese into a semi-liquid/ semi-solid state. Damn, son.
  Now they keep the meat in a cabinet for an hour and charge me more than double.

  Every day, you people cry about this crap as if we could just elect the right guy, everything would be awesome or the way it used to be. You are all delusional and living in denial if you think thinks will be fixed in this country. The fact that I’m the only person on the Blaze who is constantly calling for secession, means that almost all of the people on my side are living in denial and longing for that shining city on a hill that doesn’t exist in this country any more. You can have that city, but you are going to have to close the door on this failed union. The left outnumbers us and they give better goodies. Secede now.

  Very small victory. The left knows they’ve won and they get bolder each day. This war was won decades ago with the immigration policy, chain migration, anchor babies, the welfare system, and earned income tax credits. We all went along with it because we believe in the safety net and didn’t want to see babies starve or be born in alleys. The America you love is dead and it isn’t coming back. You are about to be truly ruled from Washington DC and the only way out is to vote ourselves out of this union. That is the only hope of liberty we have.

  I think the public schools should be banned. Children could learn a lot more through the Internet and a weekly meeting with a tutor. With all the technology and money spent on education, the finest education in the world should be free, even college.

  I’m glad to see kids stand for something and buck authority. If we don’t change our legal and illegal immigration policy, we will all have to learn the Mexican anthem and pledge. I don’t pledge allegiance to the US flag and I’ve told my children that they don’t have to. First of all, it was written by a commie, and why should free people be expected to stand in front of their neighbors and recite a pledge. I love my country and would stand up to defend it but individuals are supreme here, not government. They have no right to conscript any of us because we are not their subjects; free people will gladly fight to protect our country but might be unwilling to fight in Vietnam or Korea. Also, we are not “Indivisible”, we were created when a group of sovereign nations joined together to secede from a tyrannical government and formed a union with a very limited general government which has become more tyrannical than the British. Very soon, these sovereign nations will have to secede because they are being buried in debt and their money is being made worthless. Pretty soon, we all will be secessionist.

  You all are no different than the Democrats, completely reactionary and without thought. The Sec Def does not make policy, he follows the presidents policy. Unfortunately, the people of this country voted for Obama. Hagel may be a bad choice, but he is qualified and there is no accusation that he is working for a foreign entity. Advise and consent, that is the Senates job. Going to war over this nominee does not make sense. Rand Paul takes his job seriously. He doesn’t play to the audience just to be liked by either side. It’s called principles.

  Why are we trashing a guy for standing on his principles? They may seem strange but at least we know where he stands and is willing to take that risk. Try saving that venom for politicians who say they stand what we stand for and cave in at every chance because they are too afraid of losing their power and job.
