  • Barack Obama wants desperately to be a dictator. How about we relocate him to Syria to replace Assad and find someone for the office of President who reveres our Constitution, our sovereignty and our liberty?

  • I think the schools are slipping these horrible assignments into the curriculum to see just how far they can push their agenda before someone wakes up and screams about it. If no one had objected, it would become a regular part of the curriculum, and we would be nudged just a little bit further left, and our kids would get another dose of indoctrination. Pretty soon we wake up in Nazi Germany and wonder what the heck happened.

  • The report cites 350 acts of violence, and yet doesn’t mention even one to corroborate their assertion? Junk science aimed at vilifying a segment of the population that is attempting to restrain their out-of-control leftist narrative of “anything goes” as long as it fits into their idea of what is good and acceptable. Pathetic.

  • Also heard a little while ago that a woman who had to buy a gun and relocated to avoid a stalker has now been found by said stalker as a result of the list published by the paper. These people are despicable, and are putting people in danger.

  • I’ve heard people refer to others as “shiftless” all my life. Had nothing to do with color, but with lack of “get up and go.” The other term was “too trifilin’ lazy,” and because I never ever wanted to be called “too trifilin’ lazy,” I worked hard all my life. BTW: the people saying it were all white, as were all the people they were referring to. Unless folks are actually using the “N” word to describe someone, then people like Colin Powell who automatically think “minorities” whenever they hear something are the ones who are racist. Not everything that is said should be viewed through the “group frame” of color or sex or gender identity. Sometime it is just a comment on a particular person’s actions or lack thereof. Get over it.

  • People who agree with O’Donnell’s nonsense have no understanding of the Bible and what it actually says, taking stuff out of context to make their illiterate points. And BTW: Larry, I am one of those people who does believe all of it. But that is because I have taken the time to actually read and study it and understand it in the historical context of when it was written and who it was written to and for.

  • I miss my Cincy media folks. They do good work!

  • And what shall my answer be when the doctor asks me if I have guns in my house? Like all good Southern Belles, I shall flutter my eyelashes and say “goodness, gracious no.”

  • And what we have found in our community is that people get the food stamps, sell them for 50 cents on the dollar, use the cash for whatever (usually drugs and booze) and then hit up all the churches for all the food they wan for the week/month. If they go from food pantry to food pantry, they can eat pretty well, and get government free cash at the same time. Incentive to work? None. One shelter is attempting to teach responsibility so they are asking repeat customers to work at the shelter for food vouchers. One guy actually said, “why should I have to work for my food?”

  • After reading this article and perusing the comments, I can see what has come about from our public education system, which is more concerned with making sure that children’s little egos and self-esteem aren’t damaged than teaching them to be independent, self-reliant thinkers and workers. The education progressives have done well in training up a generation of self-absorbed, let’s-work-collaboratively ,but-only-as-much-as we-have-to-to-get-by, narcissists. The breakdown of the traditional family, a decline in self-restraint and an increased “anything goes” social culture glorified by Hollywood and a lack of religious training has further destroyed the moral fabric of our nation. People talk about the GOP being “hijacked” by the conservatives, but it has always been the party of the conservative right. The only hijacking that is taking place is the infusion of liberal, big government types who want the power to rule, but don’t want to play by the traditional rules of the party. If we are going to act like Democrats, then there is no need for a second party. Just declare Obama dictator for life and enjoy the total collapse (both financially and morally) of this once great nation. I mourn on the loss of my country.
