  Good. Teach your kids religion in church and at home–that’s your private business. Do you really want public school teachers instructing your kids in religion? Do you you want Koran quotes and pics of Muhammad up in your school? Keep the state out of it.

  Exactly. I completely agree. The sick guy’s family member didn’t want Gorley there, even though everything points to the fact that the patient did. Would never have happened had they been married. Pretty egregious case, but probably fairly common.

  Well, I’m mostly concerned about keeping my kid away from pedophiles. Through the years, the Boy Scouts have expended a lot of energy covering up for pedophiles–seen the news lately? This is in SPITE of their anti-gay policy.

  I just figure that they can now devote more time to being anti-pedo. What’s the problem?

  This is great news. My little boy is 5 years old and I want to put him in scouts. But I can’t support some homophobic operation, so I’m glad everyone is keeping the pressure on. Hopefully, by the time he’s old enough to join, this nonsense will be long past. Then the Boy Scouts can devote all of that excess energy that they used to keep gays out to focus on the real potential predators–pedophiles.
