I have no patience or tolerance for cruelty to animals. Legal, respectful hunting is one thing, this is over the line.

good points, the borad terms of “conservate” and “moderate” i think are deceiving though. the media covering this primary has judged what is “far right” and “most conservative” by tone, not ideology.

ask charlie christ how this kind of talk worked out….

what an idiot, but you know what, in watching this it’s clear that huntsman fits much better on a tv panel than in oval office; his talent is saying grandiose things arrogantly to an easy crowd rather than effectively convincing everyday people on his ideas.

You didn’t lose in the primary because your ideas were too “bold,” or because of current campaign finance when you had one of the biggest bankrollers in 2012 (your father) financing the majority of your campaign.

If you look at Huntsmans policy proposals, top-down, they are very conservative and not as moderate or third party conducive as he portrays. His problem has always centered around delivery to the point where even in this video he does not sound like an elder statesman applying his experience to give advice on how to deal with the issues of our time, but rather a smug and bitter teenage drama queen who just lost a student council election.

If you can’t sell your ideas and break the 4% support barrier on the campaign trail, how would you ever have been able to get anything done in congress or lead the nation?

    This guy’s a joke.

I always have difficulty ranking presidents because how do you judge the “best” president? By their resume, personal ability and character, or record? I think there are many Presidents who were truly fantastic, brilliant men with great careers who came into office having to immediately handle crisis or war that may have been entirely out of their control, or deal with a nation in general that was just looking to go a different direction, e.i. John Adams, Bush 41, and to some degree Truman and Bush 43. There are other presidents who I do not believe were personally exceptional but largely benefited by actions in congress and the private economy which they had little to do with: Clinton.
