  • Could this website be any more biased? It couldn’t be more transparent and predictable.
Let me guess — Israel is never to blame, the Palestinians are at fault; Republicans are never to blame, the Democrats are at fault. If your main source of news is The Blaze and Fox News you will have a very distorted view of world events. Do yourself a favor and locate a contrasting viewpoint somewhere else so that you do not get tunnel vision.

  • Just reading through the comments here and on other pages.. Common threads from the posters seem to be racism, hate, generalizations, paranoia, intolerance, and above all a pervasive background atmosphere of fear that seems to fuel these viewpoints. I have visited this site for a few weeks or so to get a feel for a contrasting conservative opinion to my own.

My question is: Are the comments posted on this website representative of the majority of conservatives?

  • Trump’s reaction is another good sign that Obama’s re-election is a step in the right direction, an attempt to counteract a total republican-led plutocracy. A perverted form of absolute capitalism without regulations has marked the downfall of the American empire and an end to a “government by and for the people” that we used to know and love. I have faith that our nation’s evolving social conscience will continue to stand in opposition to the far right’s policies of denouncing science, moderation, and tolerance; hating homosexuals, the weak and the state; oppressing women and persecuting immigrants.

  • Ridiculous.
Go ahead, blame Obama for your business failure.

  • Everybody calm down. Obama is not ruining the country, attempting to implement a socialist or communist ideology, or responsible for other ridiculous claims such as the cost of gasoline. You have been told these things over and over and over again through corporate-fed talking points given to the media and you’ve bought it. It’s called demonization and it’s purpose is to undermine a president who will not be utterly controlled by corporate interests so that they may continue to take YOUR money. You’ve seen the vicious reaction this has caused. The fact that the reaction is so intense is a sign that he’s on the right track, working to try and get us back to a true Democracy rather than a republican-led Plutocracy.

  • Of course the top 10% pay 70% of the taxes: they own 75%+ of the wealth. Then there are the myriad of tax loopholes and havens that are exploited by the wealthy through high paid tax attorneys that most can not afford. Any policy that reduces profits from the top income brackets will be rabidly attacked with corporate-fed talking points like “redistribution of wealth” and “socialism” which are given to the [mostly] right-wing media to be repeated — which they dutifully do, especially if there happens to be a democratic president in office. For obvious reasons, the phrase “redistribution of wealth” has not been used recently to describe the money that has been taken from the public majority and given to the top income brackets over the last 30 years. Now, since it does not favor corporate interests, a “redistribution of wealth” “crisis” suddenly arises.

  • Top story on the Blaze: Fox News panelist says Romney won Debate!
Wow! This also just in: Water is Wet.

  • The wealth has already been redistributed and is continuing to consolidate — to the very top income brackets over the last 30 years. Funny how the kool-aid drinkers ‘decide’ that a “redistribution of wealth” is occurring only when they are told by corporate backed media that it is. It is happening alright, but in the opposite direction they would have you believe.

  • @montanalablover

What’s it like to live in paranoia and fear?

  • It looks like a turtle wearing sacred Mormon underpants. This just came in off the wire: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-faCh8BUEts&feature=relmfu
