Somethings about this case are different then the Zimmerman trial. One its a proven fact that she was away and in no danger and could have left the scene. She choose to go in and get a gun, I don’t know the true facts because every article is different but i heard she has been convicted of a crime and can not legally possess a fire arm. That would be another charge. She fired a warning shot. Firing a warning shot is illegal. Cops are not allowed to fire warning shots or even shoot for a leg or arm. Shooting a gun means you are in serious immediate danger and shooting to hit the person is the only way out.
Given that does she deserve to serve anything then maybe a few months and community service, I think not.

So your going to force companies to pay employees $15 to bag groceries and ring your order at McDonalds. Ya that won’t force more closures. Tax on Millionaires ? hows that going to work? either they will move away or just stop making charitable contributions and stop shopping in the city.

They can only do that on future purchase. If you decline the new rate your card will be canceled and you remaining balance will stay at the original rate.

Don’t really think Brandishing would work in AZ since its open carry and you see guns all the time. At least if your paying attention you will. While you can open carry without a permit most people still have a light button up over shirt on. threats maybe if he did make a threat about give me the money or else…. Either way he has been charged by with two Felonies and will probably have more charges added.

Just because they are in prison does not mean they are all violent! I am a in Federal law Enforcement and can tell you there are people who will steal, Cheat, lie but would never result to physically hurting anyone other then pushing some one out of the way to run.
Inmates will respect a CO that shows them fairness ,respect and kindness/human dignity when its earned.
True story from my station. I work for Border Patrol. A car flipped off a road and down the embankment. Mother died on impact leaving a 5 year child alive. A Illegal found the car and stayed with the child on the road till Border Patrol came by over an hour later on the desert/isolated road.
This person was a Prior Entry/Deport. Subject to actual jail time. I don’t know 100% but believe he had drug smuggling charges as well. He just couldn’t bring him self to leave a child!
I think some of these guys learn a little something from Sheriff Joe. He is tough, but fair, and constantly reminds them why they are in there. I think they get more of a sense of right and wrong from Sheriff Joe than inmates whose warden doesn't give a crap about them. I could be wrong and it's only my observation.
Yes Anonymous, a lot of people don't realize all of the programs that Sheriff Joe provides to his inmates. All they see is the pink underwear and tent city. They never see the English as a Second Language classes, the GED prep classes, the old jail that has been converted into an animal shelter staffed by female inmate volunteers, the roadside clean up crews of inmate volunteers, etc etc etc.
@Anonymous T. Irrelevant
"I think some of these guys learn a little something from Sheriff Joe. He is tough, but fair"
Is that what you call it when he claims that prisoners who mouthed of to guards and were later found dead with nearly every bone in their body broken, must have "fallen off their bed" while sleeping, and that's how they sustained their injuries?

The Law is not enforceable. I mean if they were in the state before and are allowed to keep them. Then they just need to go a few states over and buy them. They are not stamped with dates or anything so just say you had them for years. Plus most Town sheriff’s said they don’t care and wont enforce the law.
A few states over? Dude, Wyoming, the ultimate pro-liberty state, borders them. Colorado law is dung. Ignore if it you live there, I say. And work to get the shite repealed.
I need to contact you for some help. I was never able to log on to your site.
Any advice would be appreciated. TIA
guys they passed the dope law soon they will be all stoned and not to worry
From now on every time I travel out of state I will be buying a couple of PMAGS and "smuggling" them back in just becasue. I have plenty but can you really have enough LOL? Plus it pisses off libtards like Meteors on this site. That is just how stupid the law is.

Hmm as a person in law Enforcement i find this story pretty funny. It really shows me what some people think is a reasonable use of force. One why didn’t the officers just stop them before they got to the car? next whats going to happen if they just drove off? i mean they didn’t rob the store! What is going to be the biggest charge? underage kid buying some beer?
I mean just take your creds out and press your badge and creds to the window? if the person got scared and tried to drive off you have more then enough probable cause by then to stop them?
RReal crime doesnt pay.
These thugs attack college students that they suspect have parents that will pay the fines.
Virginia is full of violent crime - yet we never hear of law enforcement actually doing the job we hire them to do.

I honestly had to teach my self to read cursive hand writing. My school really didn’t cover it beyond a few days of doing a couple work sheets and i grow up in a really nice part of Massachusetts. I also never used it in college getting my BS in Computer Networking. I personally think Cursive writing is dying out do to technology. I am in Law Enforcement now and everything for work either has to be in Bold Print form or done using a computer program.
I taught my self because i felt stupid when i couldn’t read something that was supposed to be in “English” Or at lease that’s how i viewed in when i was younger.

Hmmm so whats to stop me from buying 10 mags here in AZ and giving them to a friend in CO? how will they know when and where the mags were bought? cant some one just say they had them for years? plus how many SO said they are not going to check anyway?

First gun free zones do not apply to LEO’s on Duty! While legally private property owners do have the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. Second some one putting a Gun free zone up doesn’t give that place any special protection under the law. If a regular citizen ignored the sign the worse that could happen is the owner asked the person to leave and if didn’t its trespassing.
This of course is not to be confused with gun-free school zones and other like situations.

As long as it they did not sit at the bar or bar area and where served food in the dinning section and ordered no beer or alcohol they are fine. Most places serve beer now. Chipotle serves beer, applebees, fridays, All steak houses. You would have to limit your self to just fast food.

Time to start using burn phones or ones not trace able and switch them out ever one to two months.

Firing a warning shot is illegal in almost all states. Its also illegal for all Federal Law Enforcement Agencies.
Because you are supposed to be shooting to protect your self or others and if you have time to fire a warning shot you are not in danger.

To the person who posted you don’t use Hollow Points for Target Practice!! You train with what you use! Target rounds have different powder and kick so most agencies will use the same ammo they would shoot if a real threat presented it self as they do in training.

As some one who works for DHS. I fire 72 rds of hand gun, 5 shots for shotgun and around 50 rds of M4 a quarter so we do that 4 times a year. Round that to say 510 rds a year just to qualify. times that by 22,000 armed employees and it comes to what 11 million rounds. That doesn’t include any ammo to train or run drills. Its just what we have to shoot to keep our guns.
we used 2 magazines or 24 rounds this quarter to practice some drills. if everyone in my agency did that its 525,000 extra rounds just for that one quarter or 2 million if we did it for a year!!!
