  Who in the heck cares if this basketball player is gay or straight or whatever. Personally, I had never even heard of him before this. Guess that got him his 15 minutes of fame. It would be a cold day in he!! before I would announce something like that. What is wrong with this picture!

  I absolutely believe in the second coming and I believe that it will be soon because the Word has said with certainty that it will happen. That being said, that is not the reason I do not believe in global warming. That doesn’t really even play into it for me. If the scientists would be honest they could tell us beyond a shadow of a doubt that the climate changes are in fact cyclical. It is a bunch of garbage. We are to be stewards of this earth, but the last thing we need are government programs to help us, Lord have mercy!! Things go downhill fast when the government gets involved.

  @crazytravis, you aren’t crazy you’re ignorant. If you don’t agree with 99.9% of the comments on here which you clearly do not, the internet is an open market. I personally do not care who the celebrities are and what their stand is any more than anyone else. But if they stand for good, then they should stand loud and clear. Who in their right mind would think it is okay to do what this animal has done? Crazytravis, if you do, then you too are an animal.

  Just an observance. I have seen comments regarding churches refusing to perform gay weddings and the lawsuits that follow. A pastor or church can refuse to marry anyone that they feel, after pre-marital counseling, should not marry. It is their right. I have never heard of a church being sued for this reason. I am not talking about marrying a gay couple, I am talking about anyone. So I don’t think that would be a problem. I think preaching against homosexuality from the pulpit is a different story. If there were a gay person in the congregation, they could scream hate speech. That is my fear, that churches will lose the freedom to preach the truth without penalty. It is certainly coming.

  They certainly didn’t train for jihad in this country. They must have been going back and forth. Good job Homeland Security. Instead of frisking little blond haired, blue eyed girls in wheelchairs and 90 year old American women, try profiling. It really does work. How much more do we NOT know?

  I didn’t know who some of these preachers even were. Joel Olsteen I know and have briefly heard. I don’t know if he is preaching a prosperity gospel or not, but is sure is a feel-good gospel. He kind of leaves sin out of the equation. I actually like Joyce Meyer, but who knows. There are a lot of televangelists that preach the name-it-and-claim-it gospel and have taken scripture out of context. That is one of the reasons I rely on the Word and only the Word for truth. And just FYI, I do love the messages that come from John Hagee and Charles Stanley. I never blindly follow anyone’s preaching, always test it against the Word.

  How do you draw the lost to Jesus if you don’t serve them with no strings attached? The Gospel speaks louder in action than in words.
