  Several years ago I volunteered to be a mentor at the local high school where we lived….about 1700 students . I showed up at the front office, got my visitor’s tag and was escorted to an office complex. There were 4 assistant principals whose sole duty was discipline…..each assigned alphabetically ….one had A-D, E-J. etc. I sat there for about 20 minutes waiting on “my student” to finish a class watching the circus…..no respect for authority would be about the nicest way to describe it….pre-prison would be more accurate.
