  Exactly, @ Locked. Your definition of a Christian and my definition are the same. And with that acceptance of Christ comes the responsibility of living a Christian lifestyle. And living a Christian lifestyle does include reading the Bible and does not include allowing or supporting abortion (murder) or condoning homosexuality(explicitly forbidden in the Bible). Now your attempt to link sin committed by man who “pick and choose what messages to take from the Bible” to supporting and/or voting for a party which denied God three times at it’s own convention is certainly a “liberal” stretch.

  Like I said earlier, personally I don’t believe one can be Christian and a Democrat. Many will claim to be, but God knows.

  Personally I don’t believe one can be Christian and a Democrat. They may claim to be Christian but as soon as they support or vote for a Democrat who supports homosexuality and/or abortion, they’re not Christian in my book.
