irrelevant… not connected to or relating directly and significantly to the matter at hand or not capable of being applied…
Glenn has a large following and he constantly addresses issues and topics that are the current matter at hand. You are connecting to the matter at hand through a website that was created by Glenn. It seems to me that if anything is not capable of being applied, it would be your comment.

@Terry. I had this same conversation with a friend the other day, so I’m guessing it’s on your weekly talking point memo. I have no issue with any of the, as you put it, good for women that PP does. Aside from abortion, any of the legal activities and health care they provide I have no problem with. Abortion is currently legal, so the real issue at hand is if they broken the law by profiting from the sale of body parts. If they did break the law, then they need to have their day in court.

@Crazy. I’ve read the same article… It was 23 Billion, not 24 by the way… At any rate, all of those “loopholes” are part of the tax code and therefore the companies did not “tell the federal govt they lost money”. One common “loophole” is accelerated depreciation… Which simply means the big piece of equipment that the company paid $500,000 for in 2014 was put in the expense column in 2014… They spent the money in 2014 and it was expensed in 2014. I encourage you to read more than the first few lines of an article next time.

Financial lesson aside, the great thing about these “loopholes” is that they are tax laws that can be changed… If you have a problem with them, learn about them. Understand why they were written, how they are used, how they benefit the economy and if you still don’t like them, elect someone who will change them.

@Grover. I appreciate that you are able to be honest. I can honestly say that the thought of killing a fetus sickens me. Furthermore, the complacency with killing the most innocent among us is deeply concerning. I just hope for our sakes our children don’t decide its a good idea to abort us when we become a burden.

I don’t know what accounting school you went to, but in the 15 years I’ve been in business finance, I have not seen a way to “claim huge profits” AND “lose money for taxes”… Do you work for the government?

Let’s ‘pretend’ for a moment that there is some truth to these ‘fake’ videos. If Planned Parenthood did sell body parts, would you have a problem with it? I’m guessing your answer would be no.

What’s the problem with the police these days? They all seem constantly scared and too quick to shoot dogs and walk all over our rights because they of how they “feel”.

Talk about dark ages, you can’t even read what he said and have a real dialog… It’s not about what they believe… It’s about GOD’s plan. If two men fr&cking was in GODs plan, then they wouldn’t have a problem with it.
If you have a problem with their position, take it up with GOD. Ask him yourself… Perhapa the most important 10 minutes on the knees of your entire life.
What? You don’t believe in GOD? That’s fine. You go your way, let the Mormans go theirs and spend your life doing what you want to do, and let them do what they want to do.
That way, everyone’s happy and me and everyone else at the blaze don’t have to suffer your dribble

First thing that I thought of when I first saw reports on this was that it was a trial run for the Mall of America.

Gun laws in Kenya are very restrictive… That’s working out well, no criminals getting their hands on guns there.

I like getting away from currency, and I’m all for buying gold… But I’m stocking up on lead and wheat.

This kind of crap makes me want to shrug… I’m tired of taking care of people like this.

I can understand why people like you would find living independently and being self reliant miserable. While I find happiness in growing my own food, raising animals, putting in an honest days work and most importantly, not needing to rely on anyone else for the survival and wellbeing of my family… You would rather allow the government to provide for you and find the idea of being required to take care of yourself, and be responsible for your action terrifying.

One mans pain is another mans freedom… Our worlds are going to collide because we are getting tired of taking care of you.

“And if all others accepted the lie which the Party imposed – if all records told the same tale – then the lie passed into history and became truth. “Who controls the past,” ran the Party slogan, “controls the future: who controls the present controls the past.” And yet the past, though of its nature alterable, never had been altered. Whatever was true now was true from everlasting to everlasting. It was quite simple. All that was needed was an unending series of victories over your own memory. “Reality control,” they called it: in Newspeak, “doublethink.”" – Winston Smith
