Hemp is a great product that has many uses…..too bad big tobacco and big lumber were able to keep it out of the mainstream.

“Lois Lerner, one of the chief IRS officials at the center of the scandal, made a scene in May when she went before Congress and invoked her Fight Amendment right to remain silent.”

Which amendment is the “Fight Amendment”….?

they don’t want to declare american soil a combat zone, it would hurt their gun control advocacy….and give the dems bad pr on homeland security.

This is a political chess move to get the votes on the actual bill out in the open. Some of these Republicans voted aye because they want the Democrats in red states who vote Aye on the bill to lose their seats. This way they can have a debate it and let the people know where their representatives stand, while having a safety measure of being able to shoot down the bill in the house….. YMMV

Thoughts and prayers go out to the victims.

If only there had been a law against stabbing people, this never would have happened. Its time for knife control reform. /liberal logic

Moved there in 2001, lived there until about a month ago(moved back to OK). There are a few conservatives that wont leave, and are trying to fight the good fight, but that state is a wash. A democratic super majority with a democratic governor. They will be the beacon of light for other progressive states passing any and every law they please. I feel sorry for conservatives living there as well as the ignorant who have no idea what kind of shape they are really in. CA = first state to go bankrupt – mark my words.

I was under the impression that Saturday was ready to retire. He knew McCarthy was grooming Dietrich-Smith to take the spot and wanted to step down ahead of schedule. Saturday is plagued with old injuries and just can’t do what he once used to. /Packers fan.

Thoughts and prayers to the victims. Sounds like the shooter may have been stopped before being allowed to wreak too much havoc.

@ROBBIETLHUGHIE Because you would rather the perpetrator get out of jail and hold a gun to the head of another infant’s father for a few measly bucks? You’re whats wrong with America.

Last I checked, Obama passed Obamacare with a Democrat controlled House. The House is now controlled by Republicans. The legislation must go through the House, where it will likely fail, but Boehner doesn’t even have to allow the bill to hit the floor(he said he wouldn’t IIRC). The only way I see Obama passing “strict gun control” is through Executive Order(to which we say hello Civil War II). Maybe the Democrats will gain control in 2 years, but I see nothing happening anytime soon. YMMV

I always find it intriguing when local news makes its way onto the Blaze. Sadly, that intrigue is met with complete disappointment…….considering the content of the articles that make it here are or idiots performing acts of stupidity.

It is both their faults…the GOP hasn’t put forth a budget that makes serious cuts either. They both want to spend in their own way(one just wants to do it with more taxes).

Since when did God decide to let Christian’s dictate everyone else’s lives(public or private). Last I checked he gave us free will…… Let them get married and burn in hell, how does it affect any of you personally? (flame-suit on)

Don’t forget the Democrats also now enjoy a super majority both both the house and state senate(in CA). Surely without any partisan politics getting in the way they will be able to turn this state around. Of course, I’m not waiting around to find out. My exit plan is in place……
