As a “member of the cloth” Jim Wallis has totally missed the priorities of His Word when it comes to “social issues.” He’s majoring on the minors. Sad. But then the temptations of publicity and fame are hard to suppress when extended from the highest offices in the land. We can understand his plight but that doesn’t mean we have to provide succour to it.

I’ve heard some pretty stupid reasons for raising taxes but this is one of the worst. While I agree with his contentions that some very crazy (diabolic?) things could occur should our present President get re-elected, and I would be one of those individuals to stand with him should any body in a UN uniform try to impose a military influence in this nation (“Red Dawn” anyone?), please don’t use that as an excuse for taking MORE money out of our pockets NOW . . .

INCREDIBLE that Candy Crowley couldn’t follow up to Gibb’s challenge about Romney’s “lack of transparency”. How about our “Commander in Chief” not disclosing his high school and university records? Bush got nailed big time about his National Guard duty. We hardly know anything about the President’s high school and collegiate years. Another missed opportunity. The irony is ludicrous.
