  Come on people. Does anyone really think gun control is about preventing shootings? Seriously? We guard our useless politicians with guns but place our children in gun free zones. That make sense to anyone? If it’s good enough for our kids why not just make a 300yard gun free zone around the president?
  Gun control has nothing to do with guns and everything to do about control. Wise up people. There’s something wrong with a situation where the government wants to regulate and disarm it’s public.

  Its a sad state of affairs when something like this becomes headline news. Kid did what he had to do. So he maned up and did it. Case closed. Its sad that someone actually taking it upon themselves to do something hard to imporve there own situation becomes news.

  At face value, I see no issue with this. However, I’m afraid this is just conditioning for the mandatory buy back programs coming. Condition the people to get accustom to the idea. See it’s no big deal. Not so bad. Then it becomes mandatory for all “evil semi auto rifles” then semi auto hand guns etc.

  Perhaps if our elected officials conducted themselves with honor and dignity I would have a little more trust in there motives. Instead we get lie after lie after lie. Now you want our guns in order to protect us? I’m calling BS on this one.

  I think it’s a good idea. Most teachers I know are flaming liberals. Doubt they would know which end was the dangerous one. However I’m sure there are a good amount who would be willing to carry to protect there kids. Sad but I think it’s come to this. Oh wait if we just ban assault rifles all will be ok. Never mind.

  Perhaps if I wasn’t misrepresented, lied to and sold out by the politicians who claim to work for me I might consider some type of gun reform. However, on account of the lies, deciept and underhanded selling out of the American citizens I have no trust in our elected officials

  Naturally the focus will be turned to gun control. The real issue is how did this guy get into the school in the first place? That’s the issue at hand. As a parent and a tax payer I trust my Childers safety to these so called education professionals. In this sad case it’s the school system in CT that failed the community. Restricting peoples rights will do nothing but restrict rights. It’s clearly a power grab. So if all guns are taken from
  Private ownership what’s to stop some wacko from walking into a school with a bag of pipe bombs? Roll one into each classroom. The end result is no different. In my town we have a armed police officer in each school full time. And no it’s not the getto, much the opposite. It’s sad we need to have armed guards at schools but it’s the world we live in. God forbid what happened in CT happens here there would surely be much less loss of life. Hopefully none at all. So all you anti gun power grab types quit pushing your agenda for just a minuit and concentrate on keeping kids safe. Encourage state or local police departments to have an armed officer in all schools at all times. God bless and give those families in CT strength. Now America quit playing politics and concentrate ok keeping our kids safe!!!
