  • There is only one way to deal with a situation like this, take the IRS out of the picture. It is time for a national sales tax. We will also have to take healthcare off the table for now. No IRS no bureaucracy to enforce it. Wouldn’t you love it if the drug pusher driving the BMW had to pay tax on it and those nice rims and tires.

  • The catholic church are the last arbiters of truth and compassion on the earth, and I am catholic. Who hid priests after they molested children. We in no way know what Jesus said or preached for sure. It is extremely arrogant to assume you know for sure since what you have looked at in this day has been edited by so many. What writings have been destroyed over the years, have been changed. You accept all and don’t judge for you know not what is in God’s heart.

  • Okay I have had enough of this zero tolerance policy crap. It is impossible to have an absolute zero policy especially for kids. A child’s imagination can not be controlled. I would proffer that this falls under the First Amendment and would be considered a freedom of speech issue. This is beginning to be as ridiculous as being charged with a felony if you lie to a federal agency. They can lie to all of us but you do it and off to federal prison with you. I would imagine that about 99% of Washington would be of to jail if they had to follow the same rules as we do.

  • Where did you glean this info from?

  • Then whose Nelson Mandela?

  • I don’t want to hear any more crap from the left. Using U.S. figures, in 2010 there were 31,518 deaths involving firearms and this includes suicide. In 2008 there were over 1.2 million abortions. Tell me where the problem is now. Yes gun violence is horrible but taking an unborn life is more hanious if done for convience.

  • Let’s all remember that unions mean higher taxes and higher product costs. You buy a car and some of that money goes to a few unions. You pay your local, state and federal taxes and some of that money goes to unions. I don’t understand why union members don’t understand what unionism does to the cost of living. I guess the Boeing employees in South Carolina are just being oppressed!

  • Our immediate and more pressing issue is JOBS. If Washington finally passes a decent budget headed towards balance and business knows what to expect the next few years there will be no debt problem. 22 million working Americans will generate a lot of revenue for all governments. Reduce corporate taxs to bring back manufacturing and freeze clean air standards at least todays limits. Build steel mills in right to work states. And just spend money the right way, after you get it and not before.
P.S. 2.2 trillion over ten years just doesn’t work with deficts running at 1.2>1.5 Tr. per year.

  • Can we get a few thousand people to go to D.C. walk into the capital and recite the Lord’s prayer. I f government is of the people by the people and for the people, the capital building down to the rural town outhouse is the people’s. I can speak my mind from the public square to all the way to Washington and the government can’t do thing one about it, even is it does include religous content. If I can sway you with just a word your conviviction is not strong and your resistance to my word only enforces this thought. Speech does not establish anything legislation does. And one other little thought, I bet the principle did not take an oath to uphold and defend the constitution.

  • This is one of the reasons we have massive deficits. This is from 2010 and now there will be an investigation at the congressional level. It will cost well over 500,000 and not change one damn thing. Please take a look at what Congress investigates and has hearings on and then you will see where the money goes. It is waste on the highest order.
