  • There should be a way on here to “track my comments and replies to my comments” without having to scroll through 20 pages of comments. That more than anything else is why I do not post very often.

  • This is going to be an interesting story. If they charge him with murder they are admitting that life begins in the womb. They will need to charge him with endangering the mother to avoid the stigma of ******* off the pro choice crowd.

  • David If you read my reply to James I mention that owner /Founder CEO’s should have no ceiling. But the figure is for all CEO’s. Very few would fit the bill of being worth 340 times the average worker. The Janitor is not the average worker. The CEO may make several thousand times what the lowest worker makes.

I am not advocating socialism, I am a capitalist all the way, but it does need to reward hard work not just the buddy system of a top few.

  • James I agree with you on a personal level the saying that the first million is always the hardest is true because you can get 100k just getting 10% interest on the first mil.

But from a corporate point of view the CEO should not make 340 times what the average worker makes unless they are the founder/owner. The only reason I give that exception is because they took the risk with their capital to get it going.

However the opportunity should be there for all to move up if they are willing to be educated and work hard. There should be no glass ceilings other than how hard are you willing to work.

  • While this may not be a popular stance on here she is partially correct. The income divide has grown since 1980 and it is only getting worse. The average ceo of a company made 33 times what their average employee made in 1980. Today that average ceo makes almost 340 times as much as their average employee.

The fact of the matter is that people are working harder and getting paid less than a decade ago. We are more productive and less prosperous.

One person on the panel talked about safety nets the rest talked about people that were working full time jobs. I am not a proponent of the welfare state but the panel did not talk about welfare.

Now to play devils advocate I will add that the people must be willing to put forth the effort to better themselves and if they are not society owes them nothing. But if a person is willing to educate themselves and work hard they should not live anywhere near the poverty line in the greatest country in the history of the world.

America is only as good as our weakest links. If as a nation we ignore problems like poverty we will answer for it someday to a power much higher than the president. God will call us to account for what we have been given and what we gave to our fellow people.

  • i like him and will support him based on this statement

  • Serves her right, I am so tired of the narcisism rampant in our society. For all the facebook idiots that need to post a new photo of themselves like they changed from the 5 pics 3 days ago.

  • In the last days the truth will be mocked. He told the truth, he did not judge a particular person. Amazing that if you go against what academia and hollywood push you are a bigot.

Why don’t they ask a muslim man the same thing. They will not because they will have to mock them and that is forbidden in the political correctness handbook. But to mock Christians is ok.

The beast will overcome them and they will believe the lie. In prophesy a beast is always a nation. Right now forces of evil have hijacked the United States and have us talking like a dragon. I absolutely love this country and the freedom from oppression that it represented. But this is not your father’s country anymore.

Because of adademia and hollywood and the media we are closer to Babylon than anyother nation, and we will incur God’s wrath, I pray for my country everyday. But we are on the wrong side of righteousness when we abort 40 million babies, and promote lifestyles that are contrary to God’s word.

Obama promised fundamental change, well here it is. But this certainly did not start with him.

  • I am pretty sure Obama just wanted to telll him that he didn’t build that. He was going to offer him money to tell the American people that his success came because of the roads, not the hard work.

  • This country does a lot of things that are right, a lot of things that may be right at least at the time. But abortion is murder for convenience. Plain and simple. There will be a reckoning one day when they meet their maker. Until then the liberals will continue to murder the most innocent among us.

Ironically if many of the same people saw a kitten being hurt or having the things that they do in an abortion, there would be outrage.
