College Football Player Quits Team in Scathing 4,000+ Word Blog Post Citing ‘Abuse’ Over His Faith

Baker claims he left because of his ‘faith’ and then rambles on for thousands of words about his ankle injury and how HE refused an MRI or to accept that it was a major injury. Then when HE decided the injury was bad he was furious his coaches didn’t bow down and kiss his hinny. This is what gets me, if he wants to say the coach is abusive, ok, but to try to get sympathy by trying to tie this to a faith thing is absurd. He’s an ATHEIST! Baker claimed the coach criticized his ‘spiritual’ beliefs. Many religions have spiritual beliefs but I would not put atheists in that category. After reading the whole letter it sounds like a whiny kid just trying to get sympathy. We dealt with a professional one of these whiners for years here in Cincinnati. He’s name was Chad Johnson. His ego was writing checks his performance could not cash.
Obama Compares Himself to Reagan: Republicans Aren’t Accusing Him of ‘Being Socialist’
October 5, 2011 at 11:50am
If you ask me, the fact that BO has to continually compare himself to Lincoln and Reagan proves he is nowhere close to either. If he actually were like either of these 2 great men, people would see it all on their own. Funny thing is his followers, who I’m sure are not big fans of RR, are constantly being told he’s just like RR. So, do his followers now have to start saying RR was a great man or do their true feelings about RR now have to be projected onto their savior – BO? I’d hate to be a BO supporter right now. You’re being pushed, pulled and turned around so much I can’t imagine you can think straight. How can you continue to trash RR when BO is saying he’s doing the same things? I guess you can try to re-write history in your own mind and claim RR was a closet liberal, but then how do you explain hating RR for 25 years because he was so conservative and now, poof, all of the sudden he was really liberal all the time? Were you that blind for 25 years about RR and it just took BO to point the truth out??? Yeah, I’d say doing that would take any credibility you may have ever had in your arguments down to about what, ZERO??? Good luck with that! Do yourself a favor, find the whole speech BO quoted and see if in context, RR said what BO claims. You might find out BO may have just pulled a line completely out of context to make a point and RR is the truly awful conservative you always hated. I know, pesky little facts just keep getting in the way, don’t t

Svt4Him – All you have to do is listen to the rhetoric coming from all the members of the Congressional Black Caucus over the past few weeks but especially the last few days and it makes perfect since why some people are seeing this as a racial thing. The CBC is pushing and encouraging blacks in this country to revolt and riot. Just ask yourself, if this would have been white coaches and players jumping on a black ref, don’t you think Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would be falling over each other racing to the camera to cry racism? It goes both ways and this administation is forcefully and actively pushing for a race war. Eric Holder proved that loud and clear when he dropped the voter intimidation case against the Black Panthers as soon as he took office. Those men, I believe, even confessed to the charges and were on their way to conviction, but Holder dropped the case because he didn’t feel right trying “his own people”. I’m sorry, I thought he was an American. Aren’t we ALL his “own” people?
Update: WI Mayor Gives Labor Council an Ultimatum After GOP Banned From Parade
August 30, 2011 at 7:30pm
@ Encinom & Johnny Carson – it would be SOOO refreshing if either of you would do even 2 seconds of research. While unions have pushed for better benefits, the reason companies really starting offering healthcare was not because of unions but because of the salary freeze imposed by the federal government after World War II. Since companies could not offer more money they offered other benefits such as healthcare. The unions had NOTHING to do with this. Once healthcare became part of the package, it stayed even when companies were allowed to offer better salaries again. Seriously guys, do some research. Actually read some REAL history instead of just spewing what you hear on your liberal blogs. Can’t either of you think for yourselves? There may have been a time for unions, but they are so corrupt, bullish and greedy now that they are destroying everything that has made America great and everything that will allow this country to continue. Ask the non-union business owner who got harassed and shot by the Verizon union worker. How about all the union workers who are bussed here and there to protest, harass, and trash non-union issues? Are you REALLY proud of this “civility” that we are told we are suppose to have? You keep trying to demean the tea party which has been nothing but civil and respectful while you side with bullies and increasingly violent groups. That says more about the both of you than anything you’ve ever written.
Update: WI Mayor Gives Labor Council an Ultimatum After GOP Banned From Parade
August 30, 2011 at 5:15pm
Encinom – I’ve never worked for a union but I’ve enjoyed wonderful healthcare, my weekends, and overtime. My husband worked for a company for a while that was union and he would tell me stories how if there was a spill or something, if he tried to clean it up they would yell at him because “that was their overtime.” What were they doing at the time? Sitting on their a$$es doing nothing. Unions breed lazy, greedy workers. It all becomes about what they can get out of the company and not what they can do for the company THAT GIVES THEM THE FREAKING JOB!!!!! JFK would be horrified by this. The more union workers cost the company in healthcare, salary, and overtime, the more the goods and services cost the consumers. Also, the less people the company can hire. I work hard for my money and I don’t need some damn union boss trying in increase my wage so he can take a higher percentage of it every paycheck as union dues. It’s a scam and everybody knows it. Unions don’t care about the workers. It’s all about getting higher salaries so the union can collect more and more money in dues. Don’t believe me? Then answer me this – why are unions so willing to let workers be fired without any willingness to even consider reduced pay to save those union jobs??? Get back to me when you’ve checked your liberal talking points, Encinom. I know you can’t think of an answer on your own.

Eencinom – it really amazes me how much you DON’T think for yourself or take 2 seconds to really examine what you think. Do you even read the article before you reply? Yes, people have a right to assemble, but they don’t have the right to do it with Taxpayer money if they exclude a group of people from participating. That’s all the mayor is saying. If the union wishes to have the parade and make it partisan, then they can pay for it by themselves. Seriously, I don’t know why you keep posting on here. Every time you do you show how completely ignorant you are. All you do is regurgitate liberal talking points. You compared Walker to Hilter, as a dictator I assume, but what do you call the union leader who kicks the GOP out of a public event because he didn’t like what they did? The congresspeople are ELECTED officials who did what the people ELECTED them to do and the people seem pretty ok with it considering the results of the recall elections. Seriously, do yourself a favor, turn off MSNBC, MoveOn.org, and CNN, get out of your parent’s basement and get a job. You’ll see the world a whole lot differently.
Strong Earthquake Hits East Coast — Trembling Felt in D.C. and New York
August 23, 2011 at 4:09pm
Latest lib headline: Earthquake that hit DC is racist says Charlie Rangel. “This never happened during a white presidency. This is all designed by the Tea Party to disrupt the Obama vacation in Martha’s Vineyard and bring down the president’s approval rating. They won’t even let him play a relaxing round of golf without interrupting him.”
Seriously though, I have friends and family in the area and I pray all are safe and sound after this event. It can be a scary situation to be in, especially with all the tall buildings in all the areas it hit. God’s blessings to you all.

…story. Also, did you know that Darwin actually believed that Asians came from orangutans, Africans from gorillas (because they were big, strong and not that bright) and Caucasians from chimpanzees (because he believed them to be the favored race). So not only was he a complete racist as we are all evolving to the perfect race – whitey – you also then have to believe that 3 completely different animals that cannot reproduce together had to all evolve at the same time into completely identical creatures (except for some non-crucial cosmetic traits) that are so identical they can reproduce together. Ok, science, prove it. I mean really prove it. Where are the 3 missing links?? I honestly believe that most people who argue evolution is science and that’s the end of the story actually have no real clue what evolution really and truly teaches. They learned in science class that we came from apes, that’s evolution, science “proves” it and that’s that. I believe that because if I ever ask an evolutionist to back up his beliefs they either call me names, give me a link to a site that if they ever read they would not send, or they just don’t respond at all. I’m a creationist but I have extensively studied both the Bible and Evolution. If everyone did that than maybe we could have more productive discussions with evolutionist instead of “It’s science, idiot, so you have to believe it true. I don’t have to prove it. Creationists are ignorant.” Yeah, thanks Einst

@ Saranda – I’m glad you love that part, but let’s look at the reasoning behind this. Creationists (Christians, Jews & Muslims) believe God created a perfect world, without sin which
meant without death. Sin entered the world b/c of Adam & Eve which then resulted in death – “For the wages of sin is death” Romans 6:23. So if death did not exist until sin, how could animals have died before that? Now, you have every right not to believe that but before you start making fun of us that do, can you please explain how the world magically exploded and formed from nothing? Doesn’t science prove unequivocally that you can not create something from nothing? Yet, people like you believe it without question and then ridicule those who dare to have faith in the Word of God. If you would just study evolutionary theory, you would see it goes COMPLETELY against science. Life just beginning out of nothing, creatures developing limbs and traits just because, taking millions of years for a river to change an area when it was proven last year in Japan that a tsunami can drastically alter an area in a moment. What you don’t realize is it takes just as much faith to believe in evolution as it does in creationism, especially when we find out some dinosaurs were a complete hoax i.e. Brontosaurus (look it up). Or Lucy, the “first person”, whose body parts they found across 50 MILES! Really? You might try really studying evolution before you tell creationists they just believe a
