To finish my comment: Us conservatives need to go where the independents,non-political types are and give them information to build our ranks and take our country back. Those people are on Facebook in huge numbers. Let’s take advantage of the fact that the mainstream media doesn’t have the grip they used to and go around them to the people that need to hear this stuff. I see a ton of other conservatives doing the same thing I am. PLEASE JOIN US!!!!!

Hi all! I see a lot of comments here about why anyone would want to use Facebook. I am commenting because I used to say the same thing. In fact I had a FB account for years but only went on it when I got the rare message from a friend. I just didn’t “get it”. If I had time, I was frequently on The Blaze or other sites, makeing comments on there. Then the Arab Spring happened and a lightbulb went off in my head: Why was I wsting my precious time making comments on sites like this, essentially “singing to the choir” when I post comments about politcal happenings and links to current news events that I think people should know about (but probably will not hear about thanks to our non-biased mass media complex). I took my frustrations and energy and put them into Facebook. I friended everyone I knew, going back to kindergarten and hoped that some thoughtful, well-written, persuasive comments about conservative ideas or the plague of progressivism might sway just a few people to think about things differently–or even to start paying attention to current events! I have been surprised to see results. There are people that I KNOW have been on the government dole that are making positive comments or even sharing my stuff with their friends. Social media is POWERFUL. Let’s not let the other side own it. Please consider getting on Facebook and posting stuff you would post here. Share these articles from The Blaze and other new organizations to open people’s eyes.

Thank you BSA for doing as you have taught our kids to do since your inception…to be morally straight, to do your ‘duty to God’. It’s nice to know there is a responsible organization that has the American family’s back and has not caved to the ever-intense PC pressure from our declining culture. Please remove members of your board, such as the Ernst and Young and AT&T CEO that do not see value in your moral code and will betray it at every opportunity. Our kids need you to continue to stick to your guns!
