  • Let me see if I understand this correctly. You can purchase, keep and consume marajuana leagally, but not raw dairly Products. So much for common sense!

I occasionally purchase raw milk and cheese because I don’t have the lactose intollerance issues I have with pasteurized products. I am required to sign a waiver acknowledging the risk of unpasteurized products, so I consume them with full knowledge of what I am doing. I have been consuming raw dairy for 40 years without incident. Dairies that sell raw have sanitation standards significantly higher than other dairies.

With raw, I don’t have lactose intollerance issues, vitamins and minerals are not destoyed via pasteurization, and I have never had an issue with sickness from the raw dairy. Sounds like extreme government oversight to me!

  • I am leaning the same way. It is time to go our seperate ways. Is it time to divorce ourselves completely from the disfunctional Northeast, Upper Midwest, and the West coast? I believe maybe it is while we still have the South, middle and lower midwest, and the Rocky Mountain areas with some common sense left!

  • We should never compromise our conservative principles. Without that, we really have nothing. Having said that, I really do not believe we will ever see the NE, Upper Midwest, or the West coast vote republican – due to the libralization of education, the media and strong unions in these areas. For me, the gorrilla in the room is, is it time to divorce ourselves from them, would we be better off seperating ourselves to build a nation based on the founding principles we believe in? I am willing to be, that I am not the only one with these thoughts. I would be interested in others views on this topic.

  • The Republican Party is the original third party. If broke away from the Whig Party. Can another third party succeed? Yes it can. We have history. It has worked before!

    Lets form the “Tea Party”!!!

  • I will go third party if:

    1. The GOP goes along with raising the debt ceiling ever again, or
    2. The GOP does not push forward the proposed balanced budget amendment, or
    3. The GOP does not get through the Ryan proposal – without watering it down, leaving in every cut to Obama care.

This is where I draw my line in the sand! The GOP needs to put up or shut up! Any suggestions on a third party? How about a new official “Tea Party”!!! As you can see, I really do not hold out hope in the GOP any longer.

  • If Republicans cannot move this through without caving, how will they ever be able to get Ryan larger and more difficult bill through. Make not mistake, the real issue for Democrats was the Obamacare funding stripped from the bill. Anyone want to bet whether or not this funding will remain in the bill?

Can anyone say third Party!!! I’m actually saying it, but the majority of you are thinking it. I really don’t think the Republican party will ever change. This just shows they are as spineless as ever.

  • As far as I am concerned, this is the last chance for GOP in congress. I consider them on probation. They have between now and 1 year from now to show results, or I am gone for good – having been a loyal republican for 26 years. I am now only loyal to conservative, constitutional principles.

  • If they really meant it, they would sign it!

Additionally, where is it in the pledge to:
    1. Not put forward any bill that would trigger deficit spending – period!
    2. Begin paying down our debt, not deficit, DEBT!
    3. Support and actively pursue a balanced budget amendment.

Sorry, but these are gaping holes in their pledge to me. They should be at the top of the list – priority number 1!

  • What about a pledge to never put forward a deficit budget? How about a pledge to put forward a balanced budget amendment? What a plan to reduce the debt (not deficit – there is a difference)? I am all about fiscal responsibility – something this seems to skirt the edges of but never quite take head on.

  • Why do the GOP leaders need a ‘Pledge TO America’? Didn’t the tea party already provide a ‘Contract FROM America’? Who is calling the shots – the employee or the employer?

Additionally, what weight does this document have when none of them had the courage to sign it? Actions speak louder than words!
