  • I have been talking on my phone since 1993 while driving. I am a good driver and I have never gotten into an accident due to distraction (one accident my trailer brakes failed and I slammed into the cars in front, the other I was 18 and pushing a bug out of a window and drifted into a parked car going about 20 mph).

Also I have watched over 300 college class hours of videos in my car. I have watched hundreds of movies, possibly thousands, while driving. I drive long distances and i need to stay awake. it keeps my mind engaged and I don’t fall asleep while driving and die. I go to the right lane and drive about 2 MPH under the speed limit so I never catch up with anyone and people just end up going around me. You have to be smart in order to do this .. in heavy traffic you can’t watch a movie. In heavy rain or snow you can’t watch a movie. I have been doing it for 14+ years, never an issue. So I think the distracted driving thing is more just bad drivers who would have gotten into a wreck doing something else if not talking on their phone.

The one thing I cannot do and drive though … texting. I can talk on my phone, eat and watch a movie while towing a fully loaded 24′ trailer and going 60-70 .. but I cannot text while driving. No one can do it long term and get away with it.

  • Seriously .. if you don’t like it go click on something else. Some people don’t think of JUST politics all the time. I, for one, am a very high information voter and extremely conservative and I enjoy a mix of entertainment and politics. You’re acting like a liberal and only want to hear the stuff you deem worthy of being heard. How about you just let other people live their lives and shut up about it.

  • Yelp sucks. I wish I had enough energy right now to explain it. But let’s just say they filter certain reviews and keep certain reviews at their discretion. So they keep visible all my bad reviews and a ton of my 5 star reviews get filtered for absolutely no reason. I don’t care what people write abou tmy business, but I do care that Yelp only shows the bad stuff and filters the rest. Take a look at any business then go down just past the reviews and see the Filtered tab. This is where the problem lies.

  • As close as I can tell, every one of those comments was from a Black person. Just sayin’

  • Before you quote out of context read before that. It is talking about widows and orphans in your family. To interpret that to mean someone who does not work would mean that any Christian who is out of a job is worse than an infidel… which is obviously not the case.

  • I am full on conservative, but it is obvious that that video was propaganda. I would have produced it MUCH differently. Without the dramatic music in the background and with just facts. I would have quoted Obama, then quoted statistics but not with all the drama.

  • There is no way he could fire a shotgun (except maybe a 410) with one fully extended arm and not have it fly back into his face. Also it didn’t sound like a shotgun (again unless it was a 410). 410′s are useless unless you are shooting something the size of a bird.

  • I have the capacity to be serious and funny at the same time. Hopefully someday you too will gain that ability.

  • I have taken over 350 hours of college courses on tape and watched thousands of movies all while driving/eating/towing big-fully-loaded-trailers. There are times when you have to not watch and just put it on pause because traffic is too sporadic, but I never get into accidents and I put on over 50k miles a year. Texting, on the other hand, I cannot do for more than about 1 letter. if you think you can you are wrong. I guarantee I am a far better driver than you are and it is notoriously dangerous to text. You have to be a complete fool to do it while driving.
